Shit ass fucking refs absolutely played this for Buffalo.

  2. SadMathematician7799

#FUCK YHESE REFS. UPVOTE IF YOU AGREE

  3. Tuch yeeting Ek. Kaprizov getting hit 15 ft away from the puck. Hartman getting his stick slashed out of his hands.

We need to just turn dirty in OT. That’s what everyone else does and they benefit.

  4. basketcase-nimrod

positive notes: we got one incredibly important point for the standings, and moose scored against his former team. we go again tomorrow against the st. louis boooooooooo’s

  5. I don’t care how hard reffing is, you gotta fucking call those holds, interference and slashes. Fucking bush league.

On the other hand, I can’t blame all of it on the reffing. The defense was awful on that first goal too, you cannot just leave someone wide open like that. Fuck man. At least we got a point. Buffalo is a different team and they know it. I’m happy to see them playing so well, just… not against us please. God damn.

  6. pjokinen

I get that they were pocketing the whistles, but holy shit did that massive no-call on Hartman just totally changed the flow of that OT

  7. echelon999

Holy fuck that overtime zebra session got me fucking livid.

  8. letoiledunordstars

annoying to lose, but it was a fun game and we got a point

and the blues lost to the habs in regulation hahaha

(can’t talk tooo much shit since we’ve lost to the sharks twice this season…but i still will)

  9. complete game management by the refs in overtime. oh they had two 5 on 3s let’s just let everything go.

  10. Seraphax

#HOW MANY TRIPS, SLASHES, AND INTERFERENCE CALLS WERE FUCKING MISSED IN THAT OT, FUCK THE NHL REFS

  11. essenceofpurity

Fuck this leauge! Clear agenda against Minnesota.

These refs are very fortunate that they do hockey and not soccer in South America or they wouldn’t be alive.

  12. UnitedPuppySlayer

My mom could have made those fucking calls in OT and she doesn’t even know how the game is played.

  13. HerbalAndy

Refs fucked us at the end.. otherwise I’m happy with how everyone played. Happy with the point considering we were down by 2 going into the 3rd. Good game.

  14. cothomps

Baby Wild win in overtime. Rossi w/ one goal, assist on the OT winner.

  15. TheTree_43

The Wild need to play a much better defensively sound game. When you go against an offense as talented as Buffalo, you have to make them work for their goals, so many were practically handed to them. Honestly lucky that it wasn’t a 10 spot.

  16. One point more than what I expected coming into the game, so I don’t know what to think. The boys did everything in their power to make the game as difficult as possible for them, including the three minutes blackout midway through the second period. I felt like we allowed 347568574 goals from either circle, including the game tying goal by Dahlin, one that Fleury should have saved. Refs weren’t that bad until they decided they weren’t needed in overtime. This team sorely miss Zuccarello and I got the feeling that both Boldy and Steel were over reliant from Kaprizov. Addison is costantly improving and really making himself a name for the Calder race. Anyway let’s add this point to the standings and on to the next one

  17. LadyRedBeard

Plain and simple it was a good hockey game. Stop looking for things to blame. Oh wait it’s MN sports can’t lose with dignity around here. Ain’t gonna win much when you don’t show up in the second period. But let’s just continue to blame flower/refs like we ALWAYS do.
Damn these GDT get my blood boiling.

  18. EazyParise

Holy shit our defense is bad. Fleury stood on his head to keep us in the game, but my god Buffalo was just walking into the crease pretty much

  19. AhSht-HereWeGoAgain

I’ve seen full wwf ppv matches that had less bumps than that OT lol what the hell

  20. SerenityN0vv

At least u/RedGenie87 is pleased with their incessant bitching about Flower. Spent 80% of the game throwing shade on reddit. Missed a great game!

  21. FLSB_Rider

It’s pretty rare to see penalties that blatant be completely ignored. Pretty ridiculous

  22. Unpopular Opinion: we had a few holds and trips on Buffalo in OT too but I’d rather see it be a bloodbath with no penalties than a ref sealing the game for one team.

That was an exciting OT, even if we didn’t come out on top.

  23. palpytus

no calls + no Zuccy and we pushed it the final seconds of OT. we played great

  24. Fluery makes the great saves but doesn’t make the good saves

  25. ClaymoreJFlapdoodle

Anyone have clips of those brutal non calls?

  26. Positives: Got a point, Duhaime was outstanding in his 1st game back, Moose with one of his better games, PP goals, better FO%.

Negatives: Penalties & poor PK, lapses in coverage on D, shaky periods of play much of the game, Flower with a backbreaker of a softie to tie the game up.

All in all, highly entertaining game. That OT was ridiculous! End to end, chances galore on both sides. Boys didn’t give up even down 2 late in the second. LFG!! Got another big one tomorrow!! Both teams racking up the air miles so boys gotta come out ready and not have heavy legs!!

  27. Valuable_Better

Fuck yeah. Dean asking to be asked about the OT penalties. He is heated.

  28. norskracer98

That was an entertaining one to be at. Sabres have a different energy playing in the goathead kit, hell they’ve scored 6 in all of em. I don’t have much analysis to offer beyond that. It’s a good win for Buffalo the city too.

  29. Paul_Dano_Riddler

Sabres fan….. fleury was unbelievable that’s a vezina performance

  30. curto001

MAF was the Wild’s best overall player tonight.

  31. Do refs get fined for doing a shit job? They should.

  32. I was lucky enough to take this one in from the 300s. Too bad we couldnt get the win, but a ton of fun with some rather drunk sabres fans who were also border hoppers. Hope we get the next one and MAF bounces back!
