The ref was in the way of an expected hockey play in that situation. Just apologize to the players…if they continue tell them to F off but no need for a misconduct.
Why is he sitting in the box if he got 10 and there’s 6 minutes left in the period and it’s not a power play. If the Canucks score he doesn’t come out… I dunno
Bad break but not much he could do. Feel bad for the guy, last year got hit in the face and broke his jaw. Last week a goalie decided to fire it into the corner and nailed him and now this.

Most players say sorry for shooting the puck at the ref. Learn to ring it around the boards before you blame the ref. That puck was coming down right at the top of the circle if I didn’t hit the ref.
I thought this was going to be a set of three different incidents, but the NHL is really packing it in these days. All three in the same clip!

Doesnt surprise me. Cogliano was a dipshit here in Dallas as well, he couldn't clear, pass or shoot without turning it over or hitting someone.
Why wasn't the puck given an abuse of official penalty? Jeez, officials are so inconsistent!!

The ref was too injured to even count the goal properly. That was the worst body posture I have ever seen. The goal shouldn't count if the ref can't even count it properly
The play should be blown dead when the puck hits a ref… such a dumb rule.
Nothing verbal should ever be penalized in hockey ever full stop.

I know these are split second decisions but poor choice by stripes to hug the boards on PK. He should know the team on PK are looking to clear the puck up the board or center with the puck behind the net like they had. They literally teach this in ref programs.

I think Andrew Cogliano got mad at the ref for being in the way. You see him say something to the ref. In a normal situation, a player would apologize to the ref. But knowing that he got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, he probably instead said "GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY!!!" Now this is common. Refs tend to be in the way, and unfortunately, it is part of the play. If you are mad at the ref for being in the way and causing a goal for the opposition, that's fine. But DON'T DO IT WHEN YOU JUST FOUND OUT THE REF WAS WHERE YOU SHOT THE PUCK AND WHEN HE IS IN PAIN!!! Plus, the ref HAS to be there to see the play. What do you expect the ref to do? Leave? But if there are no refs, who is going to call the game? Andrew Cogliano is a great player, but come on man. Don't do that to an injured ref. Just apologize.
Can we get the video clip of alexandar georgiev smashing his stick against the goal crossbar and yelling at Makar for the turnover he made that resulted in a goal for this game? I believe it was 3rd or 4th goal for vancouver
