  1. The tear drop activates more at the bottom of the rep when the muscle is stretched. The sweep activates more at the top of the movement. This might be why his sweeps are behind. If he doesn’t feel the tension when his legs are struggler, he should try adding bands so the tension is equal all the way through the movement.

  2. Whit that of kind mass and feeling of muscles he doing full reps. Try… he is oversized as fuck 😏 He will achieve his dreams is this sport. Arnold in present days wasn’t keep out even in classic 🤭 Let’s be onset 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. The partial rep in a compound movement can be very necessary when hitting a weakness or focusing on a part you want to bring up. Say the bench press in 3rds. The top 3rs hits the tri’s, the mid range hits the chest the bottom hits the shoulder. In this clip do we know his limitations or previous shoulder range of motion(injury’s)?
I for one ain’t jumping on his technique cause it’s not textbook, it works for him. Let’s see your gains from what ever technique? Fuck textbook if it’s going to cause pain or injury. I like Heidi but it could have easily went to Nick over Derick.

  4. I noticed that as well. He doesnt do full range of motion when he is working on his back. Maybe thats why his back doesnt get super 3d??? 🤷🏽‍♂️

  5. 🥸 3 types of body types, and yet no one has your DNA. This means different pros respond to diverse methods. I stoped doing full range on 70% of lifts and went from looking fit to being jacked. Good video though.

  6. the guys back in the golden era days just did not have that huge amount of blown up body mass that is just a big impairment in so many ways, not just the range of motion imo

  7. Dumb ass video…Nick has the best form/eccentric control over the weight in the entire IFBB. You don’t need full range of motion to achieve mind muscle connection…this is BODYBUILDING NOT POWERLIFTING

  8. Full range hits the tendons too hard. They get tough and dense, then the muscle tendon matrix gets tough, then the muscle gets hard and dense but doesn't grow anymore. You keep the pressure off the tendons and joints if you want bubbly muscle. Fullness is better than hardness. Full.

  9. Come on dude, anybody who understands how to contract his own muscles can tell he is 100% focused on generating tension. What I see is that he mastered the movements and moves only within the range of peak contraction to get moat out of movement while keeping muscle part isolated as much as possible. Comparing his chest to arnold's makes no sense whatsoever, they have totally different bone structure. The shape of his chest is given by his skeleton. You are comparing apples and oranges.

  10. Constant Tension for pump but striation full range of motion light Weights. I prefer Mike Menzor(wrong spelling) approach. He smashed Arnold out the park 81 where Arnold should of won!

  11. It’s been a big question mark for me for many years, I’ve tried it, and I don’t feel like I’ve had as much contraction if I don’t do full range of motion, the only logical explanation is that when their muscles get so big, may be their muscle already contracts the most at their partial reps

  12. … I think the controversy is a case of the devil in the details .. I don't think there is a 'best' way, but rather that results are predicated on genetics, focus on intensity, and consistent increases in strength .. Everything else comes out in the wash

  13. Y u love to talk shit, I can see u are a hater…
Can u do? wat Nick is doing and have accomplished, talk positive bro..

  14. If ONLY Nick can see this video….perhaps he'll build some real muscle and insteadbof being the third best bodybuilder on the planet he'll FINALLY accomplish something with his physique.

  15. I trust nick more than u he may not have the best shape however he had the most muscle on that stage head to toe no one had more muscle than nick

  16. ivan those legs looked diced, great job .. ill have to work even harder

  17. re the leg dweep most guys have it but they point their feet wide out too wide to see it, keep the feet straight and you'll see it

  18. Regardless, Nick is number 3 BBer in the world with his technique

Nick is keeping the muscle under constant tension, while saving his joints for the long run.
