With this Cogliano and Shore Trade, What are YOUR Thoughts on it? Which Team Won the Trade? Anahiem, or Dallas?
As long as Cogliano gets more than 11 points in Dallas I say you guys won this by a bit. Not a huge fan of Devin Shore. The points for a 3rd liner are there, but I think that will drop off a lot in Anaheim and turn into more of a 4th liner. The only thing better is the age.
And I'm never forgiving Player Safety for what they did to Cogliano. Wasn't even a suspension worthy hit and his 1st offence.

Getzlaf, Henrique, Kesler, Lundeström, Steel. They also have Rowney signed for the next three years.

I’m not trying to be Biased but I think the Ducks might have won because of Age and Cog’s contract isn’t that good.
We need young players
I’m okay with this trade, Cogliano has had a slow start this season but maybe a change in teams will help his goals/assists. Also saw on twitter that without looking at the stats, Cogs has actually made a bigger impact offensively than shore. Cogs just hasn’t been able to finish on his opportunities unfortunately. Gonna miss Devin Shore though 🙁
I have to say I'm on your side….the age gap is bizarre when it's a player for player trade. Besides that, it sort of creates a logjam at center for the Ducks.

The thing with cogs is that adding him just made Dallas get a lot less pp goals scored against him. He’s lightning fast and definitely one of Anaheim’s best defensive forwards. His offense has pretty much dried up but in reality cogs play everywhere else makes him very valuable. -Ducks fan
