Can you answer this question? Has Boston become your official or maybe even low key #1 team since Vancouver's lack of consistency? Miller's disrespect for his tender.. That goalies fixed on the coaches not a player heading into his own zone with pressure on him..Or is the Alegence to your home team to strong to surpass??

I love when a team of Veteran dominate like that! A lot of people had put Boston out of the playoff, or on the 6-7-8 spot
I don't care about Toronto.
I hope Toronto beats Boston in the first round somehow and I don't have to see fans of the currently 4th best overall team complain about how bad there team is when it isn't.
This is a special team. The regular season is one thing, but it is a whole new level at playoff time- the ultimate fight-flight response for 6-8 weeks of playoff hockey. Much different beast!!! Enjoying the ride!!!

Just wait until there is a ‘pivotal’ game between the Bruins and the Leafs. Because of the Bruins philosophy/system they will continue to embarrass the Leafs. It seems like this phenomena will continue forever. Seems like to me that the Leafs have NEVER dominated the Bruins, NEVER. As a Leafs fan this is frustrating/disappointing but it does continue and is a REAL THING. The Bruins have always been able to get the absolute best throughout their lineup and it NEVER FAILS against the Leafs. The Bruins record so far this season is phenomenal and difficult to believe if we hadn’t witnessed it. The Leafs gave up a HUGE AMOUNT to get Foligno as a rental and he was a TOTAL BUST for the Leafs. Now he’s back as a Bruin and performing well, much better than what he provided for the Leafs. Almost seems like a FOOLISH MOVE by Dubas to give up that much for a player who did not contribute the way he does now for the Bruins. I think Boston must be a desired destination for players because they know they will be playing for an ALL IN TEAM. There’s no team in Canada where players choose to play if they have a choice.Very disappointing for a Canadian fan, however Canadian teams will continue to support all the ‘lesser lights’ financially while never having a real chance to find their team playing in a Stanley Cup final…

Funny….both Bruins fans and Leafs fans afraid of the Lightning in the playoffs….well I guess history is there….but at some point has to change….so far both playing at level well above Tampa but is that Tampa just on cruise control? Not so sure….but can't wait to find out.

What's crazy is they've blown like 4 games late in the 3rd too, they could easily have 34 wins. Lost to some crappy last place teams.

As a Bruins fan, I like to say that nobody finishes second, like the Boston Bruins. 14 Stanley Cup runner-ups, two more since the last cup. This season has been amazing so far, but can they finish it off?
Bruins should have won that '90 Cup, too, realistically. Ranford stood on his head in net and took the Conn Smythe. Crazy series. I think it was the same one where the lights went out in Boston Garden and they had to play part of a period on a different day. Something like that. Great video.
And to think most people (me included) wrote them off before the season. In fact I've been writing them for years. I know absolutely nothing….

We'll see how they perform in the playoffs. Some of their players tend to fade historically. I'd like to attribute that to Cassidy pushing all the wrong buttons (sticking with an injured Tuuka, over dependence on Bergeron line , partnering Grelcyk and McAvoy) but it still remains to be seen. And no telling how Monty handles it. (still occasionally partnering GRZ and MAC: please stop!)
The only player that really isn’t producing is Smith. He needs a fresh start somewhere else
Monty has to be a lock for Jack Adams this year: his story/recovery and coaching just makes so many feel good.

So what your really saying is: Dont pay attention to preseason predictions. Boston was a lower seeded playoff team by ALL. And the ONLY reason people thought they would make the playoffs is because the bottom of the division is trash. So no confidence shown at all.

I’m a Bruins fan since 1986 . I love the great start , but it’s a marathon , not a sprint ……… they have to stay healthy and not peak at the wrong time …… they already have to deal with no Jake for 6-8 weeks .
Swayman is fine, when a backup goalie has a rough start or 2 early in the season it takes a while to get those numbers back up with limited opportunities. Not sure yet if this is truly better than the Rask/Halak combo but that will become more clear later in the season.
Trailing after one, trailing after two, blah blah blah. Not once have they won when trailing after three. So there.
