There is a serious disconnect between “trying to win hockey games” and the reality that is this player card. There is no way around the fact that keeping Kravtsov where he was would have been *entirely* fine. I understand that it was only for two shifts. The problem lies within the principle; GG simply just doesn’t trust the youts, for whatever reason.
Goodrow isn’t great. He showed some ability playing with Panarin and Zibanejad – but any notion that he is worthy of a spot anywhere other than the 4th line is misguided.
