Bedard to the Wings? Jackie Redmond’s take on where he will land. How would that happen?

  1. We’re currently 23rd in the league and if things keep up there’s a possibility however unlikely. It would be hilarious if we moved up 9 or 10 spots to get Bedard after half a decade of getting screwed in the lottery

  2. MemeLordOverKill

It’s ‘teams she *wants* him to go to’

I wonder if the Wings have enough talent though otherwise that if they did get him would they become a contender, or just be like Edmonton and stuck as just not quite good enough still.

As disappointed as I am about many things going on this season, I understand the hockey gods work in mysterious way and getting a true generational talent would be worth all the pain the team and fan base has gone through.

Stop it. It’s the hope that hurts the most.

By the end of the season I think we’re a bottom 7 or 8 team especially after we sell at the deadline. We’d need lottery luck which we know always happens to us.

I know it’s a stretch considering the kid is 17 but if he was a wing next year, he would already be a top 3 skill player on the team. The kid is that good. Hell, he could push for the top skill player.

We were at a .5% chance at the begging of the week, nows its 2.5%… trending the right way.

  9. Pretty misleading title. This is just where she wants him to go. I think we’ll lose a lot more games this year but we aren’t bad enough to land Bedard.

We have a very tough second half to the season and will be selling at the deadline. Plus we really arent a good team, the start of the season was fools gold and analytics told us we’d fall back down to earth. Don’t be surprised if we finish around 6-9.

If the NHL is rigging lotteries this year is the one to do it for us…

  12. Life_is_a_meme_204

Bettman will probably give the pick to Chicago.

I just ran tankathon like 50 times, and the Red Wings only ever moved down. This graphic is probably just for trolling the really bad teams’ fans.

  14. I just have a feeling it’s either Arizona or Columbus

  15. Bear_Jew1987

I think whit is right, and the draft is rigged. He’s probably going to Arizona

  16. The odds aren’t good but the odds mean nothing in the lottery so there’s a chance

Yeah and my fucking dreams this happens. This team right now just adding Bedard is an instant playoff team. Think of that center depth. Being able to run Larkin/Bedard as a 1-2 punch is insane. Fuck.

  18. If we could for sure get him that is one thing. But since no assurance might as well play to win as much as possible and let it just play out. Highly unlikely they make the playoffs.

No assurance we would get lottery luck after all the no luck at all times. Still if they do end up 10th and go to 1st an pick him, well maybe the luck pendulum is shifting eh?

  19. zakksyuk

Who is Jackie Redmond and how can we make her king of the universe?

  20. Even if we don’t get Bedard, landing a genuine 1st line center other than Larkin would skyrocket our playoff hopes next season. I’d be acting like we just won a cup if we win this draft lottery tho ngl. Bedard could be the next Yzerman

  21. tfoxsail

Bedard would be awesome, but I’d also be very very happy if we were able to somehow snag Fantilli if we can’t get him.

  22. AffectionateMrPink

Considering the last two generational talents haven’t sniffed the Cup I’m not too concerned with it. It takes more than a generational Center to win these days.

  23. itsthekenny

The only way this is happening is if Yzerman somehow fleeces a team out of their number one pick and the chances of that are astronomically minimal, even for him.
