Nothing will change unless we start scoring goals. I just don’t think we have the raw talent with this roster. You can “compete” all day long but if you don’t have the skill, you look like the Wings. It’s not looking good.
I've got so much faith in this team…. especially with seeing how a player like Rasmussen has some how magically ended up on the 1st line. That's right. Rasmussen is top tier NHL player everybody. Isn't Ras just overwhelmingly amazing at hockey. I'd put him up their with any top players in the league ya know…. SIKE This team is a bunch of Fvcking Looney Tunes.
Are Wings improved? For sure! Is there a ways to go… for sure. I think Detroit is missing a true goal scorer; a young guy that comes early in the draft; not 6 or 7. But first overall; seeing the young guy Hughs play – wowzer. That lottery and timing just didn't fall the Wings way over the years.
Something that I can't fanthom this year is why the coaching staff is trying so hard to spread our more talented players through the lineup. I'm watching Larkin, Raymond, and Kubalek all playing on separate lines. I love Rasmussen, but he's not a first line player. Idk. I'm just really confused by the lineups we put out each night.
