I don't think he's ever gonna be a first option type player on any line he plays, but if he develops well, he could become an incredible supporting player, a dude that does all the little things that don't appear on the stat sheet. Add that to his incredible work ethic (it's weird to think that this dude had work ethic issues 2 years ago)

Josh Wawa, is the real deal, he impressed me very much in 2022.
Probably is not him, but the way he play is exactly the style of player suzuki and caufield need to be at their best.
Roy could be that Quebec-born star the Habs need.

The feeling about our 1st round pick Lekkerimäki is perhaps not the best. Completely invisible and gradually got less and less ice time.
After watching him in training camp and also in this tournament, I can see why scouts are mixed on him. He can be very underwhelming at times. He started the tournament playing on the checking line, but he was moved up to play with Bedard for the 2nd game. And for the most part until that US game, there was nothing really remarkable about his game. Just out there riding Bedards coattails. The US game was the first time I saw him carrying the play. The first time I really saw him fight for the puck. And he was pretty good in the goal medal game too. Although he had lost his check on the game winner. He definitely still needs work. It will be interesting to see how he carries this forward.
That all said, I was really impressed with Beck. It seemed like every time he was out there he was making things happen. That kid is going to be in the NHL sooner than later.
Roy didn't catch my eye in Mtl's preseason, did in the world juniors though. Yeah he was playing with the best of the best but holding his own too in overall play. Bedard held back even more vs Czechia, they got on him n' gave him no space.
The Habs should get Roy up and on the team. SET some of the dead weight ON THE TEAM and get the young guys up and take our licks now. Tank and get Connor. ( Go Habs GO )
Man I’m not surprised in midget aaa he was the best player of the province he just slowed down after being picked number one overall in junior because he needed time to adjust

I have to say I wasn't sure about Joshua Roy last year but this year I see a whole new player. He improved so much of his game. He is pretty solid
