  1. Waynsey!! What an enjoyable game to watch. Seeing Krebsy jump for joy is contagious. Dahlin was rolling. I asked about Victor and if he was hiding…lol…found.
Dahlin said he feels evil in the black jersey lol
    Let’s Go Sabres
    Keep Praying for Damar 🙏❤️

  2. Oh boy oh boy !!!!! There is zero quit in our boys. We played very well. It felt a playoff game tonight. Dalhin , Mitts , Ollie all super impressive tonight. 2 for Dalhin , 2 for Ollie , Cozens & Tage !!!!! Another 6 in the Goat's. UPL looked impressive again had several game saving stops. Mitts looked fast tonight he was skating his ass off.

  3. I was there. The building was LOUD. It was awesome! The Sabres showed up again for the people of Buffalo. The tribute to Damar. The MVP chant after Tage scored. Dahlin scored his best goal of the season. Then the building was incredibly loud after he tied it up for his 2nd goal. That overtime was just absolutely nuts. Playoff vibes! I loved the hit Tuch threw and happy Middlestadt, Krebbs and Olofsson had a good game.

  4. Hopefully they can continue to play hard like they have. Ottawa was a bad game but on New Year’s Day…

  5. Ordered a Dahlin goat head jersey a bit ago…can’t wait to wear it every game in front of my TV. Multiple superstars on our team is insane.

  6. You could hear the building was packed, not just how loud they were on the TV feed but the tone, a lot more bass. Anyway. You could hear the crowd cheering and see the boys skating harder for if a few moments later, sometimes the same shift. I texted my brother when it was 5-4 and I said "listen to the crowd cheering the Sabres on, the boys won't let them down" and sure enough, see how it turned out!

Dahlin finds legs he thought he didn't have left when he had to break up a play instead of heading to the bench after one of many very long double and triple shifts in the 3rd period

Goalofsson maybe isn't as quick or as focused, particularly for the closer, without playing in what he called one of the loudest games he's ever played

The crowd didn't bail on the boys and the boys didn't bail on the demonic goat head 🤘 so beautiful, so many touchstones, so superlative

  7. Dahlin is the Bruce Lee of hockey blue line – the technique of no style, i.e. the position of no position. Cuz he's a phenomenal blue liner but he's such an amazing offensive weapon too. He's only 22 and still filling in his frame and learning his game too, blue liners peak in their early to mid 30s. Looks like he has the potential to be a HoFer for sure

  8. Both teams goalies, I thought played well despite the high scoring. I know Buffalo don't need a lot of shots as they make their shots count. Saw Comrie was listed as an injured scratch. Don't know what that means since he finished up his conditioning stint in Rochester. Yet another 6 goal game with the W in red and black

  9. Owen Power has quietly become a dominant force out there, just like we predicted and hoped him to be. His TOI s near 30mins per game and we have just scratched the surface. He has that great offensive side in his game too and when that gets activated… oh boy!

  10. I was there with my dad it was electric the crowd was the best I’ve seen in my life and I’ve only can remember clearly 2011 Sabres and on, glad to catch a game while I’m back in Buffalo TAGE MVP DAHLIN NORRIS

  11. Once again Wayne, the boys stood toe-to-toe with one of the top teams. Minnesota reminds me of Buffalo, fast and skilled, but more physical. That's where we need to get to!

  12. I specifically bought tickets for this game in September in my mini pack, just to see them in the black. Holy cow!!! What a damn game I picked. Just about sold out, loud as hell! What an exciting game! Dahlin had a phenomenal game…first Sabres 5 point dman game since Housley in Dec 1989

  13. What an exciting win, crazy good. But the game was not without issues.

Dahlin with 3 hits and the rest of the whole team had 4 hits combined. We have to be more physical than that! Right now, the Sabres big time offense is masking the lack of physicality. But we will get crushed in the playoffs one day without some more toughness.

  14. I was at the game! My boy Mittelstadt had his best game ever lol ha ha! Dahlin 5 points…it was so loud and all the good shooters scored. Wow.

  15. I was saying at the beginning of the year, Dahlin looks line Orr out there, and I was laughed at….. There not laughing now…. WOOOOOOO! Lets Go! 👏

  16. If we have injuries in the backend come the hard hitting playoffs, remember the Carolina Series a few years back. Need the NHL Depth. Adams, we ❤️ You. GET THAT DMAN, for the love of…….ty

  17. Lyubushkin with that dumb penalty each game! Count on it! Dahlin was a beast. My only concern is him playing 29+ minutes and the grueling schedule coming up. Power was very good. Samuellson had an uncharacteristic game and struggled. Mittelstadt was good. Hope he can be a difference maker on more occasions in the future. Okposo looked 10 years younger. This would have been a 9-6 loss if Hutton was in net. Love UPL’s lateral movement to get in position in front of the cross ice passes on the PK.

  18. Wayne , I don’t think I have enjoyed Sabres games as much as I have this year. The crowd was great and the team showed how skilled they really are. I hope the GM does what it needs to push the team over the top.👏👏👏👏

  19. Wayne lets talk about Toronto payroll and production top 3 forwards 2 top defense and 1 goalie. Payroll for this season 50,640,000 there points 54 goals 102 asst. in 40 games. Buffalo top 3 forward 2 top defense 1 goalie. payroll for this season is 25,350,000 there points are78 goals and 108 asst in 37 games. AND ALL WE HERE IS ABOUT HOW POWERFUL THE LEAFS ARE. TORONTO FANS GET READY HERE COMES THE GOAT HEADS.

  20. The boys showed their stuff again n the goathead in front of a pretty much full house! Even at the start of this year the crowds weren't there in the barn but the fans have returned to almost full capacity. The shot total in this game is sort of misleading due to the amount of shots going wide in the first by the Sabres. Even though it doesn't go into the stats it doesn't give a real representation of how strong the Sabres play in the first was. PS UPL lights out again', his confidence is soaring

  21. Dahlin could have been credited with 6 points 😮 on Cozens goal, Dahlin made the defensive play on the blue line and the puck went off his skate. The Minny player whacked the puck and it pin-balled to Tuch who got it to Cozens for the snipe. Iv seen less deserving plays end up being credited as points but I’m not guna argue this one. This game was so fun…

  22. My idea for putting us top dog for the Stanley cup this year. Now that it looks like UPL is the our guy, and getting better! Why not trade Devon Levi for our final piece? Levi is all hyped up right now, and would bring in what we need, let’s pull the trigger! Then we could keep the rest of our top prospects. My idea Chykrun for Levi? Then we would have our first Stanley cup this year! Let me know what you think!

  23. In the 1977 draft NYI GM Bill Torrey asked Al Arbour , "do we take Mike Bossy ? "Al Arbour replied, "yes sir because you can teach defence , you cant teach offence!"
The Sabres offence is fantastic, now ONLY if they could improve their Defence they would be SCARY GOOD!
Minnesotas 5th goal sticks out as you should never give up a breakaway when shorthanded!
Thanks for the video Wayne !

  24. Wish I could have at least listened to it, but at least the highlights were good.
