If I was Bedard I would pull an Lindros ask for trade before going to Vancouver. Sad cause I do like the Canucks!
Worst managed team of the past 20 years.
I woke up after a night shift and think "woah theres a matinee game today vs the jets, nice!" Tune in to canucks getting roasted with a shorthanded goal against. Very deflating
It was pretty obvious that Horvat was developing into an elite player, I always thought he would be part of the core with Petey and Hughes. Now we are stuck with Miller, no one else will take him.
They shouldnt tank because their draft luck is horrendous they would never get 1st overall even if they were bottom of the league.
Put JT on waivers, and hope some team is stupid enough like the Canucks to take him. Trade Demko for picks when he comes back healthy before the deadline, FIRE the trio, RudderlessFord, his Swede gm, and his female assistant GM and replace them with the TSN monkey because we all know the monkey has more brains than the 3 combined. Trade Boeser, Garland, and sadly Bo for picks. Trade Hughes too. Keep Petey, Kuzmenko, and Mikayeav. Eat salary to get rid of Myers and the rest. And get a real coach next season and get a lottery pick for this year. It’s that easy
As a coach if i saw any negative body language i would be removing that said player until his attitude is right or just give him away for free, dont need negativity on a team and if the coach is allowing it, hes the main issue that needs to be dealt with.
It’s a win win when we lose:
We see entertaining games like 7-4
We get bedard if we are lucky and not good haha
I feel like they bully the young Elias
Bedard will end up at blackhawks
When you only have junior league goalies and your defence is led by schenn (he should be bottom 4 in abbotsford) and only falls fast after that, it is not tanking, it is playing to the best of their ability. 🤷♂️

Miller for waivers
That chimp , Jam Tart Miller is a complete shit magnet. His little freak -fests are going to get him a sound pounding, not by his opponents but by his own team. His perpetual pouting mug is contagious… just look at the wet noodle Petterson. He's starting to act like a chimp as well. Vanloozer is a cursed team. Their past is them now. How many players have the Cannots traded away only to become super stars. Cam Nealy is a perfect example. Vanloozer had him in the goon role. laughed so hard when he was traded to my favorite Bruins… Look where they are now, Stuck with a mediocre chimp and having to trade away Horvat, the best thing the Cannots have had in recent memory.
The best option is to get a new owner

Keep Bo….lose the riff raff to afford the players worth keeping…. and just tank…it's all over for this season !
Tanking isn’t an option seeing as how we have twice as many wins as the worst team in the league! Add to that fact that we will only get an 18% chance to win the lottery! And don’t think for a second that Bettman won’t find a way to get an American team the first pick for a generational talent like Bedard!
Time for a rebuild. Trade Boeser, Horvat, Miller, Hughes and Petersen.
Start completely fresh and give it a go in a couple years.
I'm from Vancouver and the Canucks are feeling like a stain on this city and the overall interest is the lowest its probably ever been. Even worse than the glorious Messier years 😪
Its sad that this city can't have a great hockey team that just brings it every year and doesn't out their fans through this stuff constantly
I've been a canucks fan for, what feels like an eternity. And one thing I know for sure. There is a division in that locker room. I think Miller is a cancer. There are guys that work hard on this team and he ain't one of them. Im just an armchair GM. But if it were me. I'd try to package him and OEL and a first rounder, for a solid top four RHD. Then re-sign Bo, give Boeser a new home, then focus on developing the young prospects.
As a Bystander?
They will tank! Why? Because they are no longer a team anymore! Bruce NO longer (and doesn't Deserve) has control of the team!
Let's face it even if they still had the Sedins'….they would still tank this season!
Just remember one thing! EDMONTON!
