It was announced earlier in the week that the Detroit Red Wings were placing forward Jakub Vrana on waivers, but is this the last of him in Detroit?

He is making too much money and is too risky to be claimed
i believe the gentlemens agreement with other GM/owners is the most likely scenario here.
Only the team and Vrana know whats really going on! Hopefully it works itself out
Vrana loves Foster's Smokehouse
This will work out for us. If he gets his shit together
Eric Clapton had a great song
Neddy and vrana hanging out
Lol wow, this trade has been a nightmare. Dude has barely played a half a season. Cossa looks like 8 barrels of monkey spunk. And Dylan James has the potential to be a 4th liner….great job yzerbum.
At the end of the day, this is a win-win situation for everyone involved. Vrana can stay in GR until he finds his way back to his true self and his new Self. Means that it is 50-50% that he increases his own value as a player if he gets through his Rehab. The same could apply if it were about his life as a person without hockey in two years' time, win-win for both parts here as I see it. Check.
All the younger ones we have in the team today, stay and get important time to develop in games that still matter a lot for RW and our journey towards the playoffs this year. Check.
This also applies to Ned. Check.
A really good play by Stephen where tough choices were made and he delivers again like the best GM in the NHL does, On top off things. Check.
Thank you so much to the 5 teams that were able to pick up Vrana that you stay out and didn't act here. Regardless of what this may be about. I can sleep better tonight as a Swede, although we have a match so I don't have time for that, but Vrana is still a player in our organization I like that. Check.
GG Stephen… Hockey Hall of Fame move right there as a GM wow.
The team needs a fully healthy Vrana and Bertuzzi just to keep within site of the conference leaders. With almost half the season in the books most of the teams ahead of the wings in the conference have at least 7 players in the top 150 for points, Detroit has 5. Those same teams have at least one player in the top 50 for points (Toronto has 3!) and Detroit has none. Larkin has the highest point total for the team and is sitting at #63 in the league. This team does not have enough yet to truly compete. Having Vrana and Bertuzzi more this season would obviously have helped but even with them there still would be a scoring deficiency.
