I think Cales point output is being affected by over play , no one on earth can play that many min.. and play to their full potential ,yes he's on the ice more but on tired legs.
makar is gona end up on a team with an ugly uniform at some point in his career, i am predicting.
Makar is a monster, but he's not the only guy that's able to do this. Chara would play a ton, so would Lidstrom, and Keith, and most top D throughout history. Karlsson played 34:12 two months ago, and a week before that he had back to back games of 32:33 and 31:17. And that's past his physical prime Karlsson with a history of injuries. Prime EK is a guy who played three games in four days of 27+ minutes after returning from an achilles tear in two months. Daniel Alfredsson at 35-36 years old averaged 23:29 per game for the first 44 games in 2007-08 before an injury hit, showing what a ridiculous athlete he was (he topped out at 27:14 that season, a game that ended in regulation).
