  1. Woooooody

I don’t really know anything about Aiden McDonough, can someone give me the low down?

And then tell me how to feel!

Don’t ruin your career, Aidan. You seem like a good kid. JT Miller is going to yell at you here. Go sign somewhere else and have a bright future.

alright another depth winger, just what the canucks need. Better lock him up for 7or 8 years.

  4. Who cares. Dude has an NHL shot and nothing else

  5. Wait… this management group has a plan? An actual plan?

  6. As a prospect, I’d hope my agent gives me the heads up how I shouldn’t put any trust into the Canucks organization.

  7. A 7th rounder even having a shot at a contract is great

Run away, Aidan. We’re gonna sign Brent Sopel 6 x 6m and trade Quinn for Gritty this off-season.

“Aiden. What if we tell you we will get you a full training camp, time in development with Hughes, Pettersson etc., a total of 10 NHL games next year minimum ($$$), and guarunteed minutes in the AHL if things go sour? How does that sound?”

Probably sounds MUCH better than what most other teams have to offer. It’s really hard to sneak into a full time or even part-time in the NHL. You gotta take what you can find IMO.

That’s just me though. Someone will probably tell me I’m wrong.

Haha imagine having the last name Lund

Remember kids, every NHL team has an Aidan McDonogh or three.

Only Abbotsford fans should be excited

    NCAA sources i.e. McDonough’s agent/advisor..

We have a bunch of scoring wingers already, so I’d be interested in knowing whatever plan Allvin pitched him.

I’m glad Alvin is focusing on this above other pressing matters

    the plan

“we are all in for the stanley cup!”

Yeah, I’m not sure what his upside is realistically. Skating will probably never be good enough for any kind of meaningful NHL minutes, so maybe a 4th liner that doesn’t kill penalties, but can chip in a goal here and there? So maybe something like Dakota Joshua 2.0

Can’t teach his shot though, and the organization’s AHL development may have finally turned a corner. Likely won’t be anything, but get him working with the twins and maybe they can get something out of him.
