Kinda sounds like the comments we heard right before trading him, doesn’t it? Wishing the best for both him and Vrana, but this is a reminder that it was a high-risk move for both teams at the time

He was a great player when he was mentally in it. But man he could float like a turd when he wasn’t.

You’d think being traded from the team that drafted you would be a wake up call. Maybe he hit the snooze button

He never struck me as particularly bright.

I do think him Bert and Larkin was a really good trio and the 200% effort by Bert/Larks complimented Manthas somewhat lack of effort. Too bad they honestly never played much together, i will always question that decision and there is video proof of Larkin doing it too.

“Scratch me once, that’s on you. Scratch me several times? Yeah nah, this one is a wake-up call for sure. I’ll make sure I’m not on camera next time my mouthguard is hanging out of my mouth when I’m supposed to be backchecking.”

Did we both lose this trade?

I remember it was crazy when he dropped into the 20s when he was drafted by Detroit, but fast forward today, and thats probably exactly where he belongs: a first round talent with huge red flags.

He was healthy scratched by Blashill too, just before his trade, if I remember correctly.
