LA fan here. Refs, in my opinion, not calling the spirit of the game tonight. 13 penalties, many of them were ticky tacky garbage. The kind of thing where 2 guys collide away from the puck and it's a 50/50 engagement. Nobody's taking away a scoring chance, they're just jockeying for position… so you… call a penalty on one of them by figuring out which team had possession of the puck? Herpa derp. That is not how you call a hockey game.
McDavid and Draisaitl have no help and once both and/or one (especially) of them starts to go to through the media of complaining of no help then Edmonton better prepared to retool without one of them or both. Oilers is not a balanced team especially when at least 3 or 4 players eat up your salary cap. Not fair to say that it is Holland's fault but we all know Holland hasn't build a SC Championship caliber during salary cap era.
I'd say Mcdavid and Draisaitl should request a trade, but I'm sure the Oilers franchise would probably trade them for some poor prospects and some 1st rounders that will develop into nothing.

Oilers have 2 superstars, but no depth in the rest of the line, and trouble in net. The Kings have the exact opposite situation 😅
