The Sharks might be one of the NHL’s most interesting teams in 2021. Various simulations and projections predict them finishing eight-to-12 points shy of a playoff position. Yet, one look at their hungry and healthy roster could easily convince you that a stiff rebound from last season is inevitable.

Imagine we win the cup against the maple leafs and we beet the leafs with marleau , I would feel so bad for jumbo.
Pretty good points there Brodie.
I just want to mention, the prediction on EK65 being Point-Per-Game, is more of a prediction that he’ll be healthy all season. If he plays 56 games, I’m sure he can pot 56 points. But given his track record, I don’t think he’ll be in the lineup for all 56, especially when considering the fast paced NHL schedule.
I have a bold prediction of my own.
I believe our defensive depth is very light, and seeing how the CHL will be shortened and many draft eligible players are not playing as much as they normally would, I can see us trading for a 3rd pairing defenseman for a draft pick.
With Simek having knee issues, and the losses of Dillon and Braun, we really need someone to support that 3rd pair.
We make the playoffs if Drew Remenda gets back in the cockpit with Randy.
None of those were bold. Here's my 5 actual bold predictions:
1. We'll know what this team is (playoff caliber) by game 20-25.
2. Jones will post a better than 2.70 gaa & .910% this year.
3. Hertl will lead the team in points.
4. Brent Burns iron man streak will come to an end.
5. Sharks will be top 15 in PP %, PK %, and in fewest goals allowed. Some may argue this isn't that bold, until you consider the PK this year has been almost entirely revamped both in scheme and in who is on it from last year, the PP was an abysmal 23rd @ 17.5% last year, and the goals allowed we all know too well.
Mario Ferraro is the future of this team, between him and Merkley our D is going to be amazing moving forward.
I may have missed it in a previous video, but Brodie do you have some flow going on in the back there?
Brodie with the flow! Looking good brother
Why are you the only one wearing a mask on tv?
Drew to replace Randy IMO #BornInTheSameCityAsHisMom
Kane, couture, Meier and hertl HAVE to score 25 goals. Alls lost if we cant
On Wednesday, 1/20/21, the Sharks played, arguably, the most impressive NHL game of this young ‘21 season so far against the St. Louis Blues. The Sharks took a big step forward and out-played, out-hustled, out-shot, and out-skated a DETERMINED St. Louis squad tonight! The game was complete GAS, and no icing calls!! It was a VERY impressive 2-1 overtime win for the Sharks tonight and it looks to me like the Sharks ARE that fourth (possibly third) playoff team emerging in the WESTERN DIVISION. Look for some great line value on the Sharks. I’m jumping on this team early!!!
