The reason why I love and highly prefer THG over so many others is his take on things that aren't as linear as many others. Someone who thinks outside the box and gives a wider perspective on things is very good, not only for hockey. McDavid is being paid too much to be just a point per game player. That is the problem with paying too much to one player. You can't afford quality depth.
I always liked Doogie Hamilton from the start of his career so I hope he will recover and play. Though I saw enough of Devils game to know it was going to be something as were talking about him. I didn't really know serious at time though knew he was going to miss time if not rest of season at time. Rangers I thought were wise when they got Trouba only to have Fox too hehe. Oilers Two Players need to get 2 or 3 points a game way their goalies are tending net lately :).

Sam Rosen, who is the Rangers announcer, said that quote about McDavid and Draisaitl’s point a game productivity. It was clearly a tongue in cheek remark about how there is very little production from players not named McDavid or Draisaitl, and how EDM’s relatively hot start was largely due to McDavid and Draisaitl getting 2-3 points a game.
Of course Sam Rosen knows that a point a game is amazing, but it largely means nothing when others in the lineup aren’t contributing offensively.
