I feel like he got taken by a team whose offense was firing on all cylinders. Any other team lower on the waiver-wire, like Montreal, Philly, Chicago, etc, he probably isn’t producing the same level and this isn’t even asked.

“Tried him in a lot of different areas” did you really though? He almost never played RW, was never on the weak side on the PP, and was also used as the grinder or puck getter on any line he was on.
