    Wild game. Obviously could have been much better in the d zone winning their one on one battles chipping pucks out and having more clean breakouts. But they just scored 7 goals against one of the hottest teams in the nhl currently and 6 on a vezina level goalie. I’ll take that any day.

    Man, the crying/60 stats in this subreddit sometimes are off the charts given we never lost the lead in that game.

    It might have been rough at times, but hey. We won. Whole bunch of our dudes on the scoreboard, especially Mo.

    Husso was the quiet hero of tonight. Their pressure was suffocating. He faced 37 shots with many being high danger. We put 22 shots at Hellebuyck and got 6 past him (the 7th was an EN). Feels great to win but it won’t go this way very often with the play disparity.

    I couldn’t watch the game, but I have some questions

    Firstly: what is defense?

    Second: how can winning be so anxiety inducing

    Love the win. But with a team that’s supposed to be focused on defense first, weve let a fuck ton of goals against as the season goes on. A bit concerning.

    Four points for Mo and three for Razor to answer the critics.

    Stat line doesn’t tell the story of Husso’s night.

    Special teams were an improvement on recent form and sold 5v5 offence too.

    Allowed far too many high danger chances but a win is a win and this should hopefully provide some momentum over the coming games, big win to snap the losing record.

    Younger players all excellent, productive cameo from Sunny and Kuby with limited ice time, Bert showing some signs of the ol’ junkyard dog in his return and Fabbri had some excellent shifts. Defence still patchy, though all had some great moments, especially that top pair of Walman and Seider, big contributions from every forward is great to see.
