Jake Oettinger made 27 saves while Jason Robertson provided the offence, scoring the Dallas Stars’ lone goal in regulation and their only successful shootout attempt as they defeated the New York Islanders 2-1.
Ha ha! Viles lose a skills competition at home against the Lone Star Losers. What was most impressive were the number of empty seats. lol LET’S GO DEBS!!!
Firstly, if the game goes to a shootout, I just consider that game as a tie. But damn, is it just me or are the Islanders just some of the least impressive penalty shooters out there right now?
With losses like this, it’s why I beg the islanders to just tank for a younger player. They need more skill badly. Their age is getting bad, and they sorely miss guys like Palmieri consistently. Also this is a win if beau doesn’t go offside btw
