I read the Fernandes story this morning Gonzo and it was immediately clear it was click-bait nonsense straight away as it said he was a 20 year old Benfica star (he's just turned 24 and on loan at Besiktas). With regard to Brereton Diaz whose contract expires in the summer, we should offer them £7-8m with a 50% of profit sell-on clause. That would benefit both clubs unless they want to gamble on promotion.
