A typical disgusting display
If we need to score more than 6 goals per game to win….
Knowing canucks management they would trade away there first round pick to get rid of Tyler Myers or Oliver Ekman Larson contract
Fire benning
The Canucks could probably use a generational player like Connor Bedard. But do you want to waste Bedard in a Canucks uniform (ala McDavid in Edmonton)?
I’m so glad they lost. I turned on my tv when it was 3-0, immediately knew they would lose, and watched the train wreck. More embarrassing loses like that are what the management needs to see in order to convince them that this team just can’t do anything.
I don’t blame this on Martin this team just left him out to dry. Look at all those turnovers, sloppy passes, not winning board battles. Get the Canucks a defensive coach and teach them defence. Blowing a 3 goal lead is not surprising for the Canucks, but blowing that lead in the first period is absolutely embarrassing. Hoping to see some drama happening soon.
Yes, as a Canucks fan, what worries me the most is that the general “Canucks fan” and the owners/management doesn’t see this and will refuse a rebuild as soon as we win 2 in a row again.
Oel Myers pressed Box Defense just yikes Hughes almost scores his own give away
Aquilini:
"We NeEd AnOtHeR rEtOoL."
is it just me or is Tyler Myers absolutely f'in awful? Myers and OEL for new renditions of dumb & dumber..it's not even funny anymore 🙁
Frustrating part is that we'll probably just end up doing the whole retool song and dance all over again – mortgage our future, deplete our prospect pool which is little more than a puddle, bring in a few "reclamation" projects that'll somehow push us right up against the cap, we'll lose Hughes and Horvat for peanuts and then 5 years later let's do it all over again, again, and again
Was working tonight had the game on the radio ……. Sounded like Pittsburgh dominated
Bedard will be in a Habs jersey.
We are getting better with giving up those multiple goal leads, just backwards. And please just start the god damn rebuild. There's difference losing as team that is in the rebuild and losing as team that is on copium and thinks that they can still do something.
Made tokarski look amazing.
Vancouver Canucks aka…NHL's graveyard…LMFAO
I’m excited to see who take at 12th overall then see who gives up a 3rd rounder a few years down the road for our 12th overall.
They won't rebuild or draft well, they will retool and give away picks for one player and miss the playoffs like last year and pick some tweener at 14th.
Lets face it. We already knew before they started this road trip that they were gonna get KILLED. They're just pretending to be something they're not. The faster FA realizes this, the faster we can tear it down and rebuild. It needs to start now.
Honestly after that 3rd goal I knew what was gonna happen that they were gonna tie it up
Honestly like if This is how are road trip is gonna be then just tank for bedard. This better not happen on Thursday again in Tampa
What are you talking about? This was a game that can be used as an example of the "art of tanking"
Last 2 games were perfect. I want fire wagon hockey and losing games 8-7 or 6-5 the rest of the season. Best thing for the franchise.
"hey guys, its me, before i get into the stuff you wanna hear about, let me tell you about the u-6 mini hockey game i played with my toddler nephews. i scored 5 hat tricks, im very proud of myself. anyways, heres 10 minutes of random babble about a hockey game i didnt watch"
Aquilini sitting in his penthouse almost to the playoffs not knowing that the team has to win to get there hahahahahahahahahahahah
By the time the Canucks get rid of all their bad contracts we will be complaining about Pettersson and Hughes being over 30 on bad contracts
As soon as the canucks went up 3-0 and the pens were sent to the power play I bet on the pens winning… that +360 went crazy and it honestly felt like a lock when I placed the bet.
I admit that the 2019-20 season was unusual because all Canadian NHL teams bar the Sens saw playoff action. The season after that saw 4 such teams although that was because only the top 4 in that all-Canadian (aka North) division would get to qualify. Last season saw the Leafs, Flames and Oilers qualify although this season whether any of the Alberta teams, Sens, Canucks and Habs will join the Leafs and Jets in seeing postseason action in the spring is TBD. I see the:
– Leafs and Jets as near-locks to see postseason action
– Alberta teams' odds of seeing playoff action as good as coin flips
– odds for any of the Sens, Canucks and Habs as poor, at 9, 8 and 13 respective points out of playoff spots
Demko should honestly take an extra month off just to triple check his knee is all good and get some quality work in with Clark because wtf is the point in rushing back to whatever this team is rn lol
