  1. I have a gut feeling that Patrick Alvin, and Jim Rutherford, where pressured by Canucks ownership to sign JT Miller, because I believe Rutherford has better sense than that. I despise Canucks ownership for meddling and treating this franchise like a toy

  2. Bo could also completely fall off next year. It seems Canucks players only show their true potential when it's time to get paid.

  3. relegate him to the second line then, he was a hundred point player last season, no one complained about him then. as far as age goes look at Jagr playing pro hockey in Europe at over 50 years old.

  4. On the other hand. This could be good without the Canucks even knowing it. When we get a Horvat trade, that might just finally trigger a rebuild (which most of us Canucks fans want). I'm not saying this is going to happen, but its a definite possibility.

  5. It could be considering the potential ripple effects. Guys like Bo and other star and key players thinking twice about wanting to sign long term and play with the guy..

  6. Bo Horvat doesn’t want to stay though. I garuntee he wants nothing to do with the city anymore, also I’m really glad JT Miller isn’t a Ranger anymore

  7. As a Devils fan you can't blame me for licking my chops thinking about getting Quinn in NJ to complete the Hughes trifecta. I know the chances are very low but it would be cool

  8. Dumping Horvat for Miller is ridiculous. Bo has been the heart and soul of this team. I hate the Canucks but I really think the best of Horvat, he's an awesome 2 way center.

  9. Agree an epic mistake. But biggest ever….? Maybe but I would say Cam Neely + 1st (Glenn Wesley) for Barry Pederskn could be the biggest of all time for. Canucks.

  10. take a shot everytime canucks management makes a questionable decision. idk how i made it to 26, i should have died from alcohol poisoning

  11. Did Bo Horvat want to resign or was he smart enough to realize that this team still needed to prove it could make the playoffs and decided to bet on himself. I think the Canucks would have resigned him if they could have.

  12. Canucks self distructed'.. add the loss of Horvat' to the price they are paying for miller'… what a stupid move'

  13. Pretty much every year is the same: Not good enough to make the playoffs but not good enough in committing to tanking

  14. Miller is truly a clown! If the Canucks keep him over Horvat, YES, it will be the Canucks biggest mistake ever!

  15. This is not about JT Miller. He is one player out of 23 on a roster. You guys dont understand how lucky you are to have him. The team needs to play like a team. It's not one person!

  16. "i'd like to say my lack of production is a compliment to me not cheating the game and playing the right way" – JT MILLER ok ok ok

  17. Miller has played his best hockey in Vancouver
Yes I think they messed up by signing someone a year before they’re a UFA is strange
But the worst mistake in franchise history is alienating Bure if you ask me

  18. Yeesh, Johnny! Franchise history?? Guy still has 31 points in 37 games. His LACK of production isn't even that much. This isn't Loui Eriksson. This isn't giving up Cam Neely, or the whole Mark Messier thing. JT was never a defensive player anyway, and we all knew that. He's just struggling offensively. Yeah, his attitude sucks right now in so many ways, and as with everything, hindsight is 20/20. Horvat was always the way better defensive player, and one of the most amazing at faceoffs, but only all of a sudden has he become this insane offensive juggernaut that's worth way more than $7.5M. This whole thing is being so overblown, which I understand to an extent, because ever since yelling at Delia, JT has looked awful as a player and a person. It's pretty bad, but this isn't the worst thing in franchise history.

  19. With what has happened in this season, I can say, almost certainly, that the Canucks will be a mediocre team for as long as JT is here. JR and his administration team have really taken this franchise on a road of self destruction. Every player on the team today must be hoping to be able to jump to another team that has more accountability. Short term thinking or rather not thinking at all front office.

  20. lost all respect for bo when he went after don cherry out of convenience. Total lefty cuck

  21. Because Canucks management and ownership is one of the worst, if not the worst, in the league. They cannot plan anything beyond the immediate 2 weeks of profit.

  22. What about trading your captain , Trevor linden to New York , and then bringing him back 👍
For what ? What did Vancouver get
We are just following jerseys , and they change them every four months ?
They are very skilled players 👍
It’s just entertainment , and a money grab
Let’s not take it seriously 😉

  23. Nope, sorry. Kam Neely was the most significant. Messier was second. Then the way Luongo was treated. Then Mike Gillis. JT is way down the line

  24. Canucks are by no means attempting a rebuild, Allvin and rutherford have made it clear that they want a retool although with the current roster makeup and contract structure this seems like a very difficult task. aquilini seems to have expected us to repeat the playoff appearance in 2020 and has forced management to dig themselves into an even deeper hole picking up more bad contracts and losing more prospects but the canucks manage to hold it together enough to give aquilini something to believe in. trading miller made sense even as a 99 point scorer because there was no room for more players and a lack of movable assets with oel nd myers taking up too much cap and off ice situations with boeser. the value they could of got in return is what they could build their franchise around after tearing it all up. the canucks now have solidified themselves into years of mediocrity where they arent good enough to make the playoofs but arent abd enough to get top picks and prospects and ownership is unwilling to give the green light to try and fix this while it is still possible. with the current ownership i wouldnt even be surpised if they keep horvat and he walks in free agency and we lose one of our last movable assets that doesn tpack negative value apart for maybe pettersson, hughes, demko, kuzmenko and kuzmenko is the only one of those players i see realistically being traded

  25. Obviously, trading Horvat now would be a terrible move. They need to sign him to a LT contract. before . Trying to trade him
