To think that to end up where we were in 2011 we'd need to win every single game remaining and that this is a 77 point pace season hurts like hell.
Kevin Bieksa said in the 2021 short season. "The Canucks are becoming a fun team to play against." This is somehow still happening.
I remember when Vancouver had an NHL team and it was some damn fine hockey. I still watch the VHS tapes from time to time.
When you leave Sidney Crosby unchecked in front of our goal and he scores, it explains to me why we are 26th or 27th now out of 32 teams for goals against.The forechecking is horrible.
As a Canucks fan, I say that we should keep Horvat, Hughes, Petterson, and Kuzmenko. Dump the rest of the team and get whatever you can for them, even if it’s trash. At least then we would be able to understand why we are losing while getting a better chance at a top 2 draft pick. As is, we have talent on the team that can’t bring themselves to put the effort forth because of toxicity in the locker room. 🤷🏻♂️

Not a Canucks fan, but since catching some of your videos after that J.T. Miller tantrum when the goalie didn't get to the bench fast enough for Miller, I decided to watch them in a few games and see if they were as bad as you made them seem. It has been akin to watching a train wreck. It's awful to see but I can't look away. I sure hope things can change there. The fact that they appear to have no way to get Horvat to stay seems like a devastating loss.

I didn't even think that signing JT would make it impossible to keep Horvat. Now that we are facing losing him, I wish they had have traded Miller. At the very least, Miller can score.

Um… we didn't sign OEL, bud…. we should never have traded for him, I'll agree there, but you make it sound like we signed him in this.
But as to the state of the team, ever since our abysmal start to the season, I've been hoping we tank hard to have our best shot at getting Bedard. But, knowing Canucks luck, even if we end up dead last, we'll lose the draft lottery.
I am all for tanking and I'm actually glad when we lose, but the problem is that we need to decide to full commit to losing and tearing apart our team. We've in this limbo state for too long now and we need to just commit to the rebuild. Trade boeser, horvat, miller, myers, garland if possible at this point, or make some buyouts. Resign Kuzmenko and embrace the tank. It sucks watching this team suck so hard but if we have a plan from management, then at least we are working towards something rather than sitting around in the same mediocre spot every season.

Where am I at? I'm ready to stop following hockey. Had already stopped watching Canuck games several years ago… just catching every game on 10 mins of highlights on DTMS. But at this point, they're not even worth 10 minutes of my time.

I am actively rooting against then for the remainder of the season. Bedard would be nice and all, but at this point, I just want to see a bottom 5 finish. We need quality prospects bad.
Trade them all. The whole team is bad. The pieces you can get for petey, demko, hughes, horvat and kuzmenko would bring back enough pieces to laydown the new foundation for the new direction. This franchise needs a revamp. Ownership down to every single player. Start fresh and new with a true natural rebuild.
