What's The Difference Between The Maple Leafs And Oilers Right Now? | Tim and Friends
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman joins Tim and Friends to discuss what Auston Matthews’ injury means for Toronto going forward. Plus, what the Maple Leafs and Oilers will do ahead of the trade deadline.
The difference between the Leafs and Oilers is that the Leafs surround their elite talent way better. McDavid and Draisaitl are on an island out there.
Oilers have horrendous management. McDavid and Draisaitl, the best player in the world and another easily top 10 player in the league surrounded by a bunch of vagabonds. Toronto is pretty solid, but ultimately haven't accomplished anything. Oilers honestly don't need much, the Pacific division is really not that strong, so they can easily get stuff done with McDavid and Draisaitl. Toronto doesn't need anyone. Their struggles have been internal. They've gotten it done with 3 of their top 4 D missing. It'll be smart to bolster, but this Toronto team is capable of making a deep playoff run, I'm not holding my breath though.

No offence, but Friedman's haircut is an upper body injury.
Answer, everything
Difference is the Oilers have made it out the 1st round unlike the pathetic laffs
doesn't matter, they both suck in the playoffs
Oilers have grit and sandpaper. Leafs have dandelions and marshmallows.
Leafs have defence
Leafs have Connor Timmins Oilers don’t
Hopefully not the wrist again

Nothing – both dont make it past the first round.

Goaltending,goaltening,goaltending.
It was 3-1
I am just here for all the insecure and delusional Oilers fans trying to chirp the Leafs over two good players
Lol the leafs are elite and always been…the oilers are mediocre but people want them to be top tier so badly…
A Stanley cup appearance in the past 20years
The difference is that they aren’t the BRUINS
Difference is that one team actually won some playoffs series and the other lost for years
One has Matt Murray, one has Jack Campbell
