I was really excited to pick up Klingberg during the off-season thinking he would make a decent defensemen during the season but great trade bait towards the trade deadline. Needless to say Klingberg has been a massive disappointment this season. I’ll be grateful for whatever Verbeek can get us at the trade deadline, and will be shocked if anybody signs him anywhere near what he was wanting from Dallas before he came here.

I hope nobody actually expected klingberg to be good defensively because if they did then they were just setting themselves up for disappointment

Solid move by Vanderbeek to onoy give him 1 year. And with Shattenkirk gone after this season as well things should only get better!
