Almost expected. I know Kreider wasn’t as practice but has there been an update?

Glad Gauthier is able to practice. But the big thing is Laffy on top line. This should hopefully get him going. So excited to see him with Zibby and Kaapo.

Those top two lines, on paper, look badass. However… Remindme! 2 days

I never understood why the NHL is so much less transparent about injuries than every other sports league.

That 3rd line…poor Fil. I wonder if we could see Fil and Tro swapped at some point—feel like Vesey-Tro-Goodrow is a 3rd line with some jam, would be a good checking line.

Something about Laf being with Mika and KK tells me he’s going to start playing a little better

I think I jinxed it. I was saying yesterday how this run of injury luck was really a nice streak while the rest of the metro had bumps and bruises up and down the division. Last night we were playing our 15th straight game with a fully healthy lineup and our 22nd in 24 games. Gonna need some guys to step up

Not expected to miss long term…. Good opportunity for Laf.

When Laffy inevitably proves that he’s too physically slow to play a top 6 role at this point in his career I hope fans finally give it a rest. Kakko was inappropriate in a top 6 role until he worked on his skating in the offseason and became a possession monster that dudes can no longer knock off the puck. Waiting on Laffy to do the same.

Day-to-day has usually meant at least a week with GG. Kreider will be missed. Not sure Laf’s been deserving of an opportunity, but this is a chance for him to step up.

Poor Chytil gets whatever shit is left over after Zibanejad and Panarin get their linemates

Even tho Tro is solid at 2C, I would love to see Pan-Chytil-kravtsov

Unfortunate it comes at the expense of Kreider but this is what everyone has been clamoring for. Gut check time for Laf

Who gets Kreids special teams minutes? He eats up a lot of clock.

Hot take but move Goody to C on the 3rd and then swap Chytil and Kravstov. At this point I think it’s actually just a waste of time to try and further play Chytil at C, he’s terrible defensively, our worst faceoff guy, and his play just overall more so is in line with a winger. You can take my rambling with a grain of salt though lol
