Really strong game overall, the Preds are a good team and the type we’ve traditionally struggled with more than others (defensively strong, big, great goalie). Missing Brodie and Matthews, we still hung tight in a good defensive matchup.
Love seeing Nylander stepping up and being the best skater on the ice tonight, and timely contributions from our other big guns. Murray was unreal, nice to see him build on his performance from the weekend. This is a legitimately great team we have here, nice to see them pull out a win tonight.
Oh, and the missed call on the Kampf hit was inexcusable. Complete garbage, borderline suspendible hit that doesn’t get called even upon review.
Edit: Oh, and I liked McMann’s game. Wouldn’t mind seeing him on the fourth line with ZAR and Holmberg for a couple games.
