  1. give him top 6 in montreal, or give him top six in laval. playing him with guys like armia, pezzetta, dadonov, and drouin won't help him any. pezzetta has no talent and the other three don't give a fuck and haven't all year. you need to put players like slaf in a position to succeed. haven't we learned from caufield last year?

  2. At this point he needs to be playing more minutes with the Rockets this is an horrific situation for him right now, playing with those vets showing zero example for him is a back scratcher.

  3. Sure, then bring him back next yr. Or, if somehow Habs give away a handful of suckery by the TD. Nah, even then, leave him in Laval. Maybe, even all next season, as Habs gonna suck for awhile. Keep his head up, & get more minutes.

  4. Good! then call up Ylonen and send Slafkovski to Laval for a bit. good Idea!! Barron back to Laval of course. He did not have a great stay in Montreal.

  5. Hasnt played a shift with cole and nick in a while. Not sent to world juniors. Kid gets no chance to gain some confidence, I think letting him stay up with big boys and figuring it out is the better way to go about it.

  6. Even from a Slovak fan – send him down before it's too late. We're gonna need him in Riga. How is Laval doing? Will he be available?

  7. Yes, Please send him down. He needs 1st line time PP time and PK time. Get him down there until after the trade deadline.

  8. Laval is about as successful in the AHL as MTL is in the NHL now. How is sending Slaf there going to help him or MTL at this point? They send him to Laval, he'll want to be traded and I hope he will be. The chances are he'll end up in a better team.

  9. It doesn't matter who Montreal drafts, this team has one of the worst track records the last decade of developing their own picks. My suggestion would be to lend him out to a team that can actually make him reach his potential, we don't want another KK.

  10. Somewhere around 8 minutes left in yesterday’s game bw Canada an US, the tv camera panned some fans behind the glass. Some guy was wearing the red “Blackeye from Xjekai” t-shirt and promoting it for the camera. Was that you?? 😂😂

  11. Slav was the worst draft pick montreal has made, they should have picked Shane 100% go ahead prove me wrong Slav.

  12. I just can't help but wonder why Slaf stayed up to begin with past the 10 game mark? We all love his potential but let's face it playing the year in the AHL where he could excel with regular pp minutes and reg 1st and 2nd line minutes, plus the jrs, and into the play offs with chemistry would have been huge for his confidence while still developing to the small ice surface before the big show. I sometimes feel like it's the organizations 1st over all pick ego that got the better of them. I sure hope he's mature enough that none of this effects his over all confidence moving forward. A lot of adjustments for a young guy new to north america.

  13. Would have been great to see him at WJC but on the bright side Canada would only have gotten a bronze if that had happened 😉
