[NHL Network]_ Jack Hughes has 100 points over his last 82 games. Is he a top-10 player in the league right now?

Another one!
[NHL Network]_ [Yes, this is our second post today about how good Jack Hughes is and no, we’re not sorry.](https://twitter.com/NHLNetwork/status/1612929777102475266)
He’s tops in my book.
We’ve been over this, yes he is lol
I don’t think it’s fair to rank skaters against goalies, so with that in mind: its a yes in my book.
I think that right now, until Hughes shows this level of performance over a full regular season + playoffs, you’d objectively have to take McDavid, Matthews, MacKinnon, Makar, and Kucherov over him. I think Hughes is right there in the next group with guys like Draisatl, Pastrnak, Fox, McAvoy, and Robertson.
If you’re considering potential and contract value as part of the equation, I don’t know that I’d trade Hughes for anyone aside from McDavid though.
Biased opinion? Fuck yeah he is.
Unbiased? He’s a Gato god and everyone’s noticing.
I’ve never seen a player go from “bust” to “8×8 wtf kind of overpay contract is that?” to “is he a top 10 player in the league” in the span of 3 years
You realize how the experience he is gaining at his age helps him once he hits the prime years of his career? Being at a level at his age means he will be scary good when he’s mid to late 20’s.
he’s probably already in the conversation for top 10 and it wouldn’t surprise any of us if he’s in the conversation for top 5 soon
If the NHL were to do a full league draft, Hughes is 100% going in the top 10 selections due to his age/skill combo.
So, that’s a yes from me Dawg
Top 15.
Top 16 if Geertsen comes back.

Some red hot takes in there.
Yes. There are very, very few players who can take over a game and he is one of them. McDavid, Matthews, MacKinnon, Drai, Kaprizov, Robertson, Makar, Hughes
