  1. Reilly is like a forward trying to play D. He always swings his stick in front of him to poke checkcinstead of pushing the puck carrier to the outside or lining up a good hit. He pinches when he shouldn't and he's a total marshmallow. Trade him for a bag of pucks. Throw Holl in there too.

  2. Leafs play better as counter punchers. Look at 3-on-3 overtime when they are in attack mode as prime example. When Leafs counter attack, they win 3-1; when they are offense first, they win or lose 6-5.

  3. Is Reilly worth a stud 2nd or 3rd line winger, a no1 defensive prospect, and a 1st rounder? Or maybe a 2nd rounder? My eye test says the Leafs were a better team when he was on IR.

  4. Reilly try's to be a superstar Dfenseman and that's why he makes mistakes. If he just played defense first and not worry about being a scorer he would improve. But when someone thinks their better than they are they don't listen their always right. He's been making bad play after bad play for along time. He needs to concentrate on keeping the puck out of our end. He's definitely tradeable if the right guy was available. He's not a 1or2, he's probly a real3 on a good Dfense squad. I like Reilly but he could be better if he really became a shut down guy.

  5. Reilly is a strong player and I think another team would coach him better. A change of scenery and I think its a win win. Maybe San Jose wants to trade.

  6. question is what you are getting for your money as well. 32th in d-man goal scoring. Not great for a top d-man pp quarterback. He does not come anywhere close to a guy like Hedman because Hedman was the 3rd highest scorer for d-men last year, he lays out big hits and he defends well. For 7.8 mil, compared to Rielly's 7.5, Hedman is GREAT value for money. Rielly, not so much.

  7. He cant do it. Hasnt learned it. He is always out of position. If he isnt trying to create the only thing left is bad defense. He wont change.

  8. Wooooo! On none 7 9-9 PK X+ Orange LAUGHS fans said "PLAN THE PARADE, THIS IS OUR YEAR, WE'LL WIN THE CUP" Woooooo! BWHAHAHAHA 😭😭for 55 years & counting. LMFAO 🤣🤣

  9. Maybe the Leafs have found their depth forward for the playoffs? Try Rielly out on forward for a bit. They played way better team defense when he was out. He's a great human being, but defenseman, not so much. They have so much firepower up front, they don't need a d-man skating the puck behind the other team's net.

  10. What if the Leafs deadline acquisition was just moving Rielly to forward?

    Bunting Matthews Nylander
    Rielly Tavares Marner
    Engvall Kampf Jarny
    Kerfoot Holmberg ZAR
    **Robertson, Hunt, Knies

    Brodie Holl
    Sandin Liljegren
    Gio Timmins

    Murray
    Samsonov

  11. It just seems obvious that the leafs look way better without Morgan reilly. Trade him while he is worth something

  12. i been saying for 2 years mo hasnt progressed any…he is not a number one d…sorry to say…he comes back and we start losing again…someone listen to me…please…………liljegren and sandin ..keep them in….number one leaf fan here…

  13. Also the thing is the difference between reilly and holl. Holl doesn't get 7.5 million a yr. Too much money

  14. mo can go skate with his fiancee…he too soft for hockey…figure skating ok i can see it..lmao…were trying to win a cup here and the window is closing….make the big trade now dubas…

  15. I was a big Morgan fan not now maybe Tessa is a little woke he is not close to the same trade him well value is high how many goals was he on ice 4 since coming back???

  16. The Leafs always have to have a fatal flaw, and right now, it's Reilly. A long term fatal flaw.

  17. Needs to be traded and allow Timmons playing time. Chemistry is out of sync since returning

  18. Freeing up his cap hit will allow us to go after another power forward to balance out our top 6 without giving up our top prospects

  19. Morgan Riely plays too offensively.
Not that the Leafs as a team play too much in a hurry.
Some reason Morgan reads the play wrong, breaking out or ahead before they have puck control.
He could have used some games with the Marlies.
Too concerned about trying to retain his status, eventually Sandin Lilijgren or another player comes along and he will lose his position on the PP in the lineup.
He is one player who could use a change of scenery.
At 7 .9 7 yrs not sure how he warranted that.
Sorry, he at one time was a number 1 or 2 on this team. Not close to Headman Makar Petroangelo Morrisey .

  20. Riely always seems to skating fowards stick checking from behind.
Not facing the player in a position facing the play. Has a difficult time on 2 on 1s
