This is exactly why the Ravens do not want to pay Lamar Jackson a mega contract. These QBs that rely on their legs, more so than their arms, tend to fade, due to constant contact. It’s kind of the NFL’s natural selection, so to speak. They are not the NFL prototype QB that is coveted. Russell Wilson has a good arm, just when he’s outside the pocket, that’s why he has lasted as long as he has. I’m not saying these QBs are bad but to give them a mega year contract isn’t the smartest business move. I could be wrong. Russ could come back next year and win it all, pretty much putting the blame on that fired HC but I doubt that will happen.
