20 minutes before the meat and potatoes. Fans won’t support two leagues, the NHL is a business and they won’t put their money in bad. It’s the truth, this fan base wouldn’t support a second NHL. Why would you think two pro women leagues would have success. Take your liberal bias out of it.

So ofc you guys had to talk about Clifford having a game. He played well in Carolina, then was a non factor in the following game. Except for his brutal holding call which threw the game for the buds. This guy blows honestly he isn't nearly consistent enough at bringing energy to the bud's game

The city council thing was better than mgks whole career. Or anything Kanye West has put out in the past 6 years
The NHL is a joke when it comes to this whole issue and Dangle's analogy couldn't be better. That being said, the idea of coming together as one league, instead of having two competing leagues isn't a bad idea at all. I mean, one women's league folded previously due to lack of interest, among other things. All having two competing leagues would do would water down the quality of the product in both leagues. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know as much about the situation as I'd like to, so if you think I'm wrong, I'd love to hear a differing opinion, as long as it remains respectful.
The takes on this podcast are getting worse and worse. You guys really need to start figuring out whats going on. Its been a few podcasts where Adam and Jesse just pile drive the podcast’s value into the ground. Also, I get the Bettman hate. But what do you want the NHL to do? If they chimed in earlier you’d say they should let the women’s league grow without tainting it with Bettman fingers but if they chime in now you say “oh its a business oriented decision.”. Well yeah… pretty sure everyone’s pay checks are based on business and not feelings.
Your Freddy insights are nice and all but you just sat our previous starting goalie. We’re in an exceptionally better situation than we’ve been in. Which I think is Rod’s point. We know Freddy isn’t perfect but for once we’re confident with our goaltending going into the playoffs.
Jesse, Adam please start a F1 podcast. I'd love to hear you guys talk about F1 but I do feel for Steve, lol

I was surprised to learn the Hart race odds are focused on Matthews/McDavid. I think Matthews is a lock, but my 2nd choice would be Makar currently, not McDavid. Might have to see what his odds are, lol

I don't get Jesse's arguments re: NHL / PHF / NWHL. It's completely reasonable for the NHL to not want to get involved when there's competing leagues. There's no winning, the NHL would be criticized for picking one over the other too, and sewering the other league. That would look horrible on the NHL.
I now have less brain cells from listening to whatever that was at the city council meeting. Good lord. That should be deleted from the Internet and never spoken of or heard from again.
