  1. i always knew mike and jim had a special bond, i didn't know they were that close that mike would write him a letter from jail…..that's quite special

  2. It sounds funny, but Mike Tyson does seem like one of the most honest people around. Even more than any athlete out there. Just my opinion.

  3. Mike's accuser had a prior history of false rape accusations but that wasn't admissible in the trial.

  4. Mike is very Raw like few people can be. He never overcame growing up in Brownsville and making millions by the age of 21 was a receipe for disaster !

  5. Teddy is a bit out of order for asking about thay letter. Same to Jim for putting out privacy like that. He already knew Mike never answered the question, so why bring it up?

Powerful stuff no doubt, just a bit out of line given the context and length of time it has been

  6. Regarding the undisclosed actions, mental health issues can make you throw all sorts of things out of proportion. Tyson may for instance be referring to something like betraying one's trust, hurting someone he cares about, letting someone down, not having the courage to stand up for something he believed in, or been cowardly where he felt he should have been brave. All these things and infinity many other things when you are alone can eat away at you, make you think life is not worth living. You can learn to hate yourself and spiral into depression, and think you deserve the pain your feeling. Or he could have done some straight up nasty shit worse than rape. Although the list of things which are worse than rape is very short and don't normally go unnoticed. We all know he has a dark side, probably a coping strategy when dealing with fear and anxieties. Be intimidating in a sadistic way to mask your own insecurities. I think Tyson has tackled his inner demons with the help of the toad. Now he knows that the demons are always there, but he can keep them at bay, and only harvest what he needs from them

  7. Murder is very believable, for a man who could kill with a punch. And, it is easier to do, in the moment of anger, or even danger, than other crimes that may require more thought. Just saying, as a former cop.

  8. Funny how Mike never got spoke to so much about his “offence” at the time 🤷‍♂️

  9. Hey Teddy great show sir, don't quit life , live to 100 and beyond. What do you think about the fight between Max Baer and Cindarela man? New heavywight cindarela man … Max Baer was not performing at all.. do you think the match was rigged in some way? Thanks for the content.

  10. Mike Tyson v Jake Paul is the fight Boxing needs to make next…the unfortunate reality is that would be the Biggest Fight in Boxing history ever…

    ** Context: Bigger than
    Ali v Forman
    Tyson v Holyfield
    Pacman v Mayweather

  11. People know his thieving ways when he was younger or alleged spousal abuse but when you're in prison like that especially if you're innocent you have to justify it in your head so even if the crimes he was talking about wasn't worse or as bad as what he was accused of he was making peace with it within himself remember he also had a religious transformation while in prison

  12. WHOEVER RUNS THIS CHANNEL WE NEED MORE MMA FIGHT COMPANION WITH TEDDY ATLAS. PLEASE GOD PLEASE ITS MY DRUG OF CHOICE.
(this is in full acknowledgement that this comment has nothing to do with the video subject, my apologies, but i just learned that teddy took an interest in MMA)

  13. Can you guys please break down Oveerem and Frankie Edgers last fight on the UfC headline for Feb 26. It was short and nasty.

  14. Definitely a child like vulnerability about Mike, which you can see in his teenage interviews and clips. But I think he's open and honest about his past because that's a way of apologising for the things he's done and they way he once behaved. I believe Mike is a different person now whose in a much better place

  15. It is also sickening to hear whites talk about a black man being a
". better person". They still see themselves as the standards of morality when history says not so fast.

  16. Guys remember mike tyson grew up with real shooters and killers. Lets not forget that the guy who shot 50 cent 9 times was mike tyson best friend…

  17. Ive never actually felt teddy was a stand up, developed man. Tyson may have done far worse but he knows his dark side, embrassed it and grew into a better man.

  18. For those commenting Teddy Atlas never understood or cared for Mike’s vulnerability clearly don’t know the history between the two.
There’s a well known video of Teddy consoling Mike during one of his amateur tournaments. Mike was crying as he didn’t think he was good enough! Hardly the actions of a man that didn’t understand or was unemphatic to Mike’s vulnerability.
But when Mike started to over step the line, Atlas would speak to Cus and others to make sure they didn’t condone his behaviour by ignoring it, and instead instilling discipline. Things came to a head when Mike acted inappropriately with Teddy’s niece. He confronted Mike and warned him to never treat his niece or any member of his family with disrespect again. For this he got fired by Cus. The fact is, Teddy was right. It was this lack of discipline that affected Mike’s career and personal life! No doubt there is still resentment there on Teddy’s side and Mike is now very humble and honest about his mistakes and behaviour.

  19. I feel for Teddy alot…..he was trying to do the right thing a discipline Mike because he knew that all the hard work was nothing once Tyson made it big….
It's like having the fastest racehorse but it kicks and bites everyone around….or a car with so much horsepower you blow the head off the engine…..
I tried to be that discipline to a step child and her mother got rid of me….I slowly got to see that step child fail

  20. Mike can be a manipulator though and he was likely trying to work his magic on Jim, I believe he was guilty.

  21. I honestly think if Mike raped her he would have admitted it …hes crazy like that

  22. Teddy Atlas hates Mike Tyson.TA was & is a bum.He always steal the glory of his fighters. He couldn't become a world champion, coz he was & is weak.Cus D'Amato made Teddy Atlas a gr8 boxing coach.Cus loved MT &MT loved him.DT accused Mike Tyson of trying 2 rape his niece & put a gun 2 his head, when he was 13 or 15 yrs old.MT said that he never had sex till he was 17 yrs old.DT have a hard on 4 Mike Tyson. He should interview him & see how brave he is.M Tyson was molested when he was a child. He showed all the signs of being abused as a child. All them poor children have mothers that loved them.MT his mother didnt love him.She gave him alcohol & drugs when he was a child.MT is the greatest after Ali.All boxers after Ali are boring, didn't have the empact Mike Tyson did.

  23. Tyson hotboxing episode with Francese mafia guy, he seems to talk abit more about stuff he may allegedly have witnessed.

  24. I always believed Mike. That girl had attempted the same thing on others prior… She had a history of lying. Her previous attempt was thrown out because she was proven to have lied…. How Mike ended serving time… His lawyers failed him…. and the legal system in his case.
And we know why…. While innocent of the sex crime imo…. He was pretty obnoxious in so many interviews… there are 20-minute videos just dedicated to all of them…. and while hilarious… it screwed his imagine to jurors. They just thought he was this brute. So….
But that accuser should be investigated. She's still never been truly investigated….
