Rough game. Boys were tired and they played tired. Too many penalties as well, if it wasn't for Sammy it could've been 7-1. Get some rest and be ready for Saturday boys, gonna be a tough one but you can do it.
Very disappointing tonight. It was my friend's birthday and the Red wings ruined it.
Need to figure out the PP guys. This team is way to talented to have such a mediocre PP.

Another garbage game. Looks like nylander has gone back to his old bad habits…lazy and couldn't give a darn. Sandin and Moe look like they are skating in mud. Way too many games like tonight and we are only half way through the season. This team needs someone with heart and size or this season ends after game 82.
Worst game in awhile. The lines were a constant blender and the team lacked focus. Sammy played well, so at least we got that going for us.
I’m thinking we rest JT, Willy and marner for 2 games soon, but not all 3 guys at the same time….the rush wasn’t looking too hot tonight….also rest those 3 sometime in April as well….Bring back Robertson for sure I know he got destroyed last NHL game in Dallas but he learned to protect himself now…..
I definitely know we need mid season breaks so we down burn out our offensive guys…. leafs fans annoy me they just sit in the bleachers with their legs crossed like a substitute teacher. They don’t bang on the glass or scream at the goalie other teams goalie the entire game like I do they don’t even fight in the comment section if you want to help our team win then go on tampas YouTube channel and spam it…. Such soft fans we have no fight in ‘em their just here when we win and ignore our unit when we lose like a spoiled wife or something….the fans that actually attend games (who can afford it) are like politically correct hockey moms that don’t want to cheer as not to upset the other parents…. That's our first reg loss in the second half of b2b this season. No big. Tampa won, though, so that sucks.
Goaltending looks to be back on track and other than a few bobbly mistakes and some give aways the defence did good it’s was only a 2-1 game till the empty net. What I see is this team needs to add a big fish on forward because the offence seems to be the thing that keeps drying up, especially when a player is out (Matthews) just look at the PP good elite teams have 2 stacked units the leafs I feel should pursue the biggest fishes on forward and maybe one on defence. Imagine this top 6:

The Kraken are real! They beat Boston tonight. That means Boston will be SUPER stoked for a win on Saturday. The Leaf’s gotta do better than they did tonight, it’s that simple.

The first shot of Bunting up close I was like, what’s wrong is he sick? And then I noticed it in a couple others and I was like ohhh, they’re tired.
Not a surprising loss. Second night of a back to back on the road it happens. On to Saturday against Boston.
Despite the loss , Sammy looked great in net . Both goalies have looked excellent lately ! My trade deadline wish would be for another top 6 forward ,Kane , Konechney etc.. What do you guys think , who should the Leafs target this trade deadline?
