    That's the problem with the Canucks they get the building blocks to improve the team but the building blocks want more money than the team can afford

    Moving Laughton would be a mistake, in my opinion. He’s like a Rod Brind’Amour. He may be a middle six forward, but he’s versatile, can play center, or wing, plays hard and is cap controlled at $3M for the next 4 years. He’s also a leader in the locker room. At 28, he’s still in his prime; drafted by the Flyers, he has history, had his fair share of growing pains, took a lot of criticism as a young forward who many called a bust too early in his career and has emerged on the other side a solid nhl’er (35-40pts/season rate, maybe 50 pts on a good team). You always need veterans on a young team, so unless it’s a fantastic return, I don’t think the Flyers should trade him. You can’t replace his value at $3M/season.

    Quinn Hughes the Canucks best defenceman? HA! He's not even really a defenceman! He's a fourth forward! No self-respecting defenceman would ever find himself behind the other team's goal line. Hughes knows shit-all about defence!

    Comfrtability with Tocchet won't do any good.
    Business relationships, regardless of business, or pro sports, doesn't always translate into success.
    I don't see it.
    Vancouver is broken beyond repair.
