Personally while nobody wants to admit it I feel like a ton of the anti-PK crowd is fueled more by racism than disliking of his play. A lot of the criticisms he faced were valid but a lot of them weren't and a lot of the time the backlash was well beyond what could be deemed legitimate, even if the criticisms were.
People are still hating the guy like 10 years later. Did he commit a crime? His only crime was loving this team and city, with MB at the helm he never should have.
A player like PK Subban could never be PK Subban under the previous regime. MB and Therrien were trash. They basically squandered a core that had been gifted to them.
Banning the triple low five was frigging pathetic of the previous regime.
I love both PK and Price. To the PK haters: suck it up. When in 3 – 4 years time our prospects near their best I hope we'll have a defense man like PK and a goalie like Price. That would be sweet
