Zach Hyman’s wedding doubled as a goodbye party for Connor Brown, who informed his ex-teammates that he’d been traded from Toronto to Ottawa. “I didn’t tell Zach,” Brown said. “Me and Zach are pretty close and I’m not sure how he would’ve reacted … I told Mitchy so he was helping me break it. Every guy I would tell would be like, ‘Oh yeah, Mitchy told me.” Brown is looking forward to an expanded role while playing for coach D.J. Smith.
