look at how provy played with niskanen. he needs a partner that can do his job like nisky did. ellis was supposed to be that guy. tony d is good but hes not defensively responsible enough. every guy they put with provy gets caught out of position and is too slow to catch up. its hard for provy to do his job when he constantly has to do his partners job too. thats why you see him over extended and getting caught in bad spots. you cant expect the guy to do two jobs at once. they either need to trade him (which i would hate to see) or they need to get someone that can compliment his playstyle and allow him to do his job as well as he did with nisky by his side. judging by the complete incompetence of the flyers GM and front office, i doubt that would happen. we'll most likely give him away for too little and he will go win a cup. this team needs new ownership and new GM and front office. too many old guys that dont understand how the game and the league works nowadays. until then, we will be stuck with mediocrity. but anyway, great clip guys. always love watching the show. i remember being a kid and watching riley play. exciting times. its cool to see how down to earth he is too. keep up the good work.
They need a huge return for him
All valid points. I'd like to see him go somewhere else with a team that can really showcase how good he is. Surround him with more talent. I'd hate to see him be like G where he's underrated his entire career because they never put consistent talent with him.
It’s such a tough decision
For Provorov sake I hope he gets traded, he deserves way better than this organization
I don't think he gets traded!
