  1. Yes trade that running back and get a real QB. When you fet the no 1 you HAVE to draft a real generational talent. Move Justin to RB and get that Georgia QB

  2. We need Lovie Smith to announce the Bears first draft pick with Peanut, Hester, and Cutler behind him. Let’s make it happen!

Forgive me. I will be spamming this idea on all Bears media comment sections, until it happens.

  3. Before I make this comment, I want to be clear I don't think the Bears should use the number 1 pick for the QB position this year. That said, the insane belief that Fields is the guy, a franchise QB, a generational talent, etc… blows me away. The only thing Fields has done with any kind of consistency that's good is run the ball. Great if you are a running back, can be great for a QB buying time to pass the ball. A QB running as their prime positive is a negative in the nfl. The very minimum it shortens his career significantly. Likely, makes him a regular for injury and hinders his development in the passing game. His passing stats are terrible and it just doesn't cut it at the NFL level. Now, hopefully I've established or at least planted a needed seed of doubt, Fields has flashed as a passer, he has the arm to play in Chicago. His offensive line is just as terrible as his passing and his receiver core is the worst in the league. These things, plus his youth, 2 coaches, gms, etc.. all could hinder him to a great deal. Unfortunately, the bears are still in a place where after 2 years they can't truly evaluate Fields. He is physically gifted, shows leadership qualities and as Poles said has flashed as a passer. Take the inability to properly assess Fields and combine it with a QB group this year in the draft that is lackluster with Young being the consensus "best" and it leaves me with this analysis. The Bears should keep Fields, they should trade down, build the team around Fields and put themselves in a place draft wise that if it doesn't pan out they can make whatever moves they need to get a QB next year. So yes, keep Fields but not because he's the guy, he hasn't earned that yet, keep him because he is likely better than what we've seen thus far and there isn't anyone in the draft that warrants the #1 pick this year.

  4. You Know one thing Watching those Chicago bears we love this season , Justin fields is HIM. Trade the pick for another amount of pics. And hit free agency hard.. either way I love this Team.

  5. First, everyone’s saying Poles did such a great job creating leverage with his “blown away” statement. If he really wanted leverage he should have said all options are open including a trade or a selection at any position. Shouldn’t have tipped his hand at all.
Second, the Bears are not the only potential trade partner for IND. Depending on how they feel about the 3 qbs they could give up less to move up 1 spot with ARI and be guaranteed one of them.
It will depend on whether one guy pulls way ahead of the others in the pre-draft process. But if that does happen don’t the Bears have to really consider taking that guy? That’s the “blown away” loophole. Could still gain extra draft capital by trading Fields and use the reasoning that resetting the qb clock better fits the team’s timeline. If one of these rookies turns out to be a superstar and Fields doesn’t improve as a passer it may cost Poles his job.

  6. Why don’t the bears get a WR with the 4th pick…. Fields needs weapons.
