Glad Matt is still grinding, dude has been the 49ers beat lead writer for 20+ years at this point and has always been polite/professional. The Anti-Grant Cohn.
As far as Brock goes, he's doing exactly what he needs to do. Distribute the ball to the playmakers and limit the mistakes. He's a more mobile Jimmy G. with a slightly weaker arm, but without the boneheaded throw or two every game that is Jimmy's signature.

Starting with the playoffs, every single team is going to try to intimidate Purdy. Expect a lot more sacks. What else can they do, given all the offensive tools the Niner's have?!?
