I never doubted them for a SECOND
Honestly good for the boys for holding off that last minute
PHEW
Enjoy a relaxing win against the Stars
Difficulty level: Impossible
We won but I’m not particularly happy about it: The Calgary Flames Story
Uhhh… a win is a win?
This team isn’t even safe with a 6-1 lead in the second. W’s are W’s but that win inspired no confidence.
The flames even make wins feel like a loss this year lmao
Whew
Dear Calgary Flames:
Never do that again
Nearly gave me a fuckin’ heart attack
Sincerely,
u/CaptinDerpI
Flames are obsessed with 1 goal games. Just had to let them back in it.
Got the 2 points. Most important thing!
I wont lie, i angrily turned off my radio at that last goal
Tune in with 10 minutes left and the boys decided to add some stress to my weekend. Very nice.
Well wasn’t exactly a goaltending or defense clinic, but it was a win.
Task failed successfully
Boy was this a nail bitter, nice to see them get the win at the end
Ugly ass win, couldve been a rallying blowout against a good team and instead we take our foot fully off the gas in the third and almost blow a 5 goal lead
This team loves 1 goal games 😅
A win is a win…..
I didn’t realize Sutter had THAT much of a hard on for one goal games
Ugly win
Take the two points
Move on to Monday for a big game against Nashville
I almost puked
Well we definitely like making it interesting
That was gross. Our D needs to fucking figure it out. We completely lose control of almost every game in the 3d.
Just goes to show that you don’t mess with the boys on NASA day
What did Calgary ever do to Joe Pavelski and why does the bad man hate us so much?
If we lost that game I would have probably actually cried
Ugliest 3rd period I’ve seen in a long time. Why change the way you’re playing when you’re playing so well to almost end up losing your lead?
This team is so damn frustrating.
It was 6-1, I did not enjoy that hockey game
Well that was a game.
I wasn’t able to watch the game. I swear I have never been this nervous following the game on Score.
Flames: All your 1 goal games are Belong To Us!!!
In all seriousness, not complaining that we get the win against a good Dallas team, but maaaaan I wish we can have some drama-free third periods this season.
That should’ve been a feel good win, but instead the Flames turned it into a shit show for literally no reason.
Easily could have lost a game where we had a five goal game, good teams don’t do that
Darryl Sutter like “Hey, this isn’t a 1 goal game! Tf? Make it happen”
Just once…please…3 full periods of decent hockey
You know what? Who cares about how you win come playoff time. Only thing that matters is the record, and the Flames have been pretty good since December. I’m optimistic
*sighs in relief*
Putting the near catastrophic collapse aside. Beat the beast team in the central to get two points which is great. Reminds me a ton of that game against LA earlier this season
Team didn’t help him out but I would have liked Vladar to have at least 1 of those 5 goals to make it less stressful.
I wouldn’t be opposed to going back to Markstrom Monday.
That felt like when you give up on a perfect stealth mission in a game and barely make it to the objective and beat the level by running through a storm of bullets and explosions.
Everybody keep saying “good teams don’t do that”, but that doesn’t make any sense to me. Good teams win. Period. Dallas has been doing that shit to multiple teams this year. GG, crazy game
This sub is pissing me off this season. We won! Fucking celebrate. A win is a win. Stop being such downers. Sure it wasn’t pretty but it’s better than an OT loss.
Love this team to death even when they don’t make it easy (on themselves or us)
Just want to point out Lindy’s game tying save after Vladar put on his best Markstrom impression.
So we lost to Chicago and Columbus but we beat Dallas. This team is confusing as shit.
Whooo. I was at that one. Damn it they can’t just make it nice and relaxing can they…good win though boys. We don’t get 6 often.
Let it be known NO ONE will score 4 straight on the calgary flames and get away with it.
Stars sub having a fit about that one goal being “offside by a mile”. I guess in Texas they don’t bother with copium and just go straight to huffing gasoline.
