Refs taking so long because they wanted to find another penalty they could call on the Stars
To be honest I think they need to have a time limit on reviews. If they can’t find anything conclusive within a certain time have to go with the call on the ice
2 of my favorite jerseys in the league.
These reviews take a lot longer now that the NHL has to contact Kadri's wife to check her social media for really mean messages just so that we know whether we should give him the benefit of the doubt.
The Flames destroyed Dallas for majority of the game but Dallas crawled back. If they can play like this offensively for the 2nd half of the season they’ll make playoffs.
These offside reviews are a disgraceful joke. And could be easily fixed.
I think he caught the puck just inside the blue line, with both his skates over the line already… but absolutely no way to overturn the call on the ice.
oh man He hasnt changed a bit and im so glad he doesnt do our games anymore TML. he never got any call right the first time,never got any info right the first time,you could never rely on him to tell you what was going on because he was rarely right, and had to walk his comments back 9/10 when he was WRONG!! so as a fan watching you just learned to ignore him and wait for the proper call etc.OR wait until HE got the right info from others!! Calgary fans must be frustrated as leafs fans were. gotta be one of the worst out there… YES YOU GREG M!!! i watched this and cringe just hearing him making a mistake right off the bat. UGH so Calgary fans watching on TV just ignore him! LOLhe is just lousy im surprised he is still working. They treated it the exact same way you would treat a situation where you can’t tell if the puck crossed the goal line. In these situations…unfortunately someone always gets screwed. That’s just how the game goes.
People may disagree with me on this but to me catching the puck and turning should be called for closing your hand on the puck. A player using their hand should have to drop the puck in front of them the way they're facing when caught. I'm not a fan of dropping it to a spot that favors you. I realize this wasn't what they were looking for but they should have been. As for the offside, there's no concrete video evidence to overturn the call on the ice. And for the love of god limit reviews to 30 seconds.
