Torts is trying to change the culture in that locker room. Keith Yandleās comments prove that thereās a cultural shift that needed to happen on that team and Torts is instilling that culture. Thereās a reason he has the 12th most wins in league history and has a Stanley Cup. I donāt think the Flyers can compete with Fletcher at the helm but Torts will do all he can to win including scratching someone who is not performing.

Just let him play and hope for some luck that they get the Conner B pick, this team wonāt be competitive for a few years to come.
I'm a Flyers fan, and the organization as a whole is a flaming bag of poop. I don't care that Hayes is leading the team in scoring. He's been absolutely terrible defensively, especially as a leader on this squad. He needs to be better (hell, they all do), but nobody should be immune to getting benched. Do others need benched too? Yeah. But for $7.1m, I expect more out of a player of Hayes' caliber.
