Artturri Lehkonen and Alex Newhook tallied a pair of goals and an assist each and Pavel Francouz turned aside all 29 shots directed his way to pick up his first shutout of the season as the Colorado Avalanche crushed the Ottawa Senators 7-0.

    This is what happens when a team breaks some sort of unofficial record for posts hit and near-miss scoring chances over a number of games, and then suddenly pucks finally start going in!

    Whatever Bednar said last team meeting paid off. The whole team showed up fires a blazin. Moose/Lehky/Newy all with 2. Hunt with a Lazer. And of course Frankie with a beautiful shutty. Everyone did their roles. Now hopefully they feel good and can actually keep this rolling

    Francis DumboDyslexia won’t be sleeping tonight. What a rampage the Avs went on, nothing says funny then the Senaturds getting shutout and thinking their rebuild is over. Ryan Reynolds to the rescue to relocate this piece of Ontario trash and relocate the poverty Senaturds to a different market😂😂🤣😂🤣🤍🖤❤️🤡🤡🤡

    I like what I see and I really hope this is the turning point for the Avs. Reffing still isn’t good but at least they did a decent job this game. Keep the Avalanche rolling down the mountain and keep the pace!

    This win should give the avs some confidence back. They played a full game without any lazy shifts.
