Thanks Trav for showing your exercise regimen for the hips. No more excuses for me now that I actually have some idea what to do. Hope the time in Banff and Vancouver is productive. Stay safe. Peace!
Is that bilasport in the back at about 5:00
I don't think I've seen it mentioned much before, but the railway shots are pretty solid. Trains are fuckin' rad, anyone that says otherwise is an uncultured dope.
Watching nhl games and pizza is an actual life style
love seeing a trav vid in the sub box
Hey Trav idk if you know this, but with the nhl pass you can change the broadcast to multi cam, which has a camera on each goalie the entire game
Love how I mentioned the weather in sask and I was complaining about it now you have put the weather in Winnipeg in the vids for 3 vids straight
That’s funny trav you make fun of me I’m to much of a damn complaining sun of a bitch
Also please don’t sing on camera again save our ears
Trav4oilers I am looking to buy new goalie pads was just wondering a lot of the new pads instead of having buckles on the back they have almost like Velcro straps does this make the pads feel looser or anything because I am used to having the old fashion kind of leather straps
Editing skills getting mint Travvy
sorry about the coffee pot 🙁
Nice video. Vasilevskiy is definitely one of the best NHL goalies. I wonder who his goalie coach is. Try to get an interview or free training session with him.
Made the NHL page the closest he will ever get to the NHL. Nice job!!!!
the sauces thoo 🙌
I hope I'll be as good as you at puck handling one day, keep up the good work Trav ! I also do like the Blok on my Bauer GSX 😉
Good vid bud. I agree watching slow motion saves is very cool and you can learn from it. About time you made something other then pan cakes.
Noooooooooooooo not the coffee maker!!!!!
Trav! As a drill you should do left and right foot slides going down the length of the rink. Really focus on keeping the leg anchoring to the post, extended and set. I think if you take away the pressure of making sure your position on the post is correct, and concentrate on keeping that leg extended and set while you slide left to right will really help in the future. by the looks of it, its probably really uncomfortable and awkward but getting the muscle memory to NOT drop your knee when you push off to anchor will take away the small window of a hole of a player sliding it past your pad. (Example 3:42 of this video). Definitely could be a flexibility thing for you, but in the recruit video (2:29) you can tell that your partner does a good job at keeping that pad facing out attacking the player as he slides not to mention how locked in and solid his entire body is when he slides. He has a solid understanding of the muscle memory for the position he wants to be in before pushes off to slide to the post. The only part of your body that should be moving drastically should be the leg your pushing off.
I'm no goalie expert by any means but I have noticed that you push off with just your toe or the very end of your blade, which I think gives u last power and control as well as less surface area so u could miss.
Man ever since I was a kid I would watch goalies… even our own Junior A team i would watch them…. and now since watching you i watch so much more…. best position in hockey 🙂
Hey Trav, what gear do you recommend or brand do you recommend me wearing
