And I don't agree with Lalonde that competitiveness was the issue last night. I think they didn't have a lot of urgency at the start, but as soon as things started going badly it snowballed into them not executing. Blame defense all you want, they couldn't do anything good on offense either. Players like Kubalik, Perron, Veleno, Rasmussen and others just had no impact. And I don't think all of those guys were lazy, they just made bad decisions. Constantly.
Husso is our first choice, and Ned isnt worth the money sitting on the bench. Hellberg is good enough to be our back-up. It makes sense to waive Ned. Lets see if he gets picked up.

Honestly I thought that game with Columbus was going to be a letdown game by the Wings after playing Toronto a couple nights before.
