Glad he was able to find a home. He never would’ve been able to live up to the expectations attached to a 6th overall pick.

I think I would cry if we still had Zacha and gave him that contract

  3. Fantastic, now i can get my winter classic jersey customized with Zacha

Do not discount the possibility it’s a Czechia player signing to help Pastrnak feel at home as possible. He hasnt signed yet.

I’m happy for him, i hope he continues to do well over there. Not sure why people want him to fail, this trade works for both teams

Really happy for him. He never lived up to what he needed to be, but he’s been fantastic for the bruins as support for their major pieces. Would I want to pay that contract, no, but makes sense for bruins.

Can this please be the last Zacha post? He’s a Bruin now. Got paid. Good for him. Didn’t work out here.

Not sweating it. He only has 5* more points than Haula while playing on the best team in the league. And as we all know Haula could/should easily have a few more goals by now. So they’d practically be tied in points with better finish. And Haula is making over a million less this season.

*including an empty net goals against us

Inflated on ice shooting percentage, secondary assist merchant, still on pace for barely 10 goals. I’ll take a poor performing Haula for cheap over that contract.

Happy for Zacha. He’s a good fit there and I wish him the best until the conference finals.

Knowing what I know about Zacha, Boston made a mistake by not waiting until the end of the season before pulling the trigger on this contract. Most of the Devils’ forwards are on the smaller side. Zacha is bigger. The Devils made the decision that he wouldn’t be part of their long-term plan. What does that say about him?

Good for Zacha. He was a clear case of someone needing a change of scenery. Glad he found a home.

Good for him. Wish him success there, never would’ve happened here though.

I feel like I always have a soft spot and appreciation for former Devils players when they move to a new team. I still root for Palmieri, Hall, Zacha, Coleman, etc. Unless they happen to be playing the Devils that night.
