Wayne Gretzky scores a goal in his first game with the Blues, while Alexander Mogilny scores twice for the Canucks as the teams skate to a 2-2 tie.

Al MacInnis scores the other St. Louis goal, while Blues goalie Grant Fuhr stops 36 of 38 Vancouver shots. Kirk McLean makes 19 saves on 21 shots for the Canucks.

  1. First game as Blues and he automatically gets to be captain? I guess he’s the one exception for what a team captain is supposed to represent and mean and be.

  2. Those Blues jerseys are so sickeningly AWESOME. They are the best Blues jerseys to ever come out. The numbers slanted with the first one a little smaller than the second. And the diagonal yellow lines between the blue and red on the jersey. So sharp. So sharp. Going to go buy a Gretzky one just like it if I can. Now you know. Now you know.
